Nice little quiet place away from the hotel district in Williamsburg so it was a lot quieter than the stays I had in the district. It's set back a little from a major highway behind a wonderful pancake house and fairly close to the interstate. Showers are clean and you get a fridge/ microwave in the room. There's laundry machines on site too.

It is a great economy motel geared more for longer stays as you get weekly room service. I don't need someone to pick up after me daily, so it was great. The building changed owners and management about a year before I stayed and they've been renovating the rooms, so newer reviews seem more relevant. The management is wonderful ... the best I've ever experienced. The rooms come with a microwave, a fridge, a single bed and a bunk bed. It sits right next to a wonderful breakfast/ lunch restaurant with 12 inch pancakes and is appropriately titled Astronomical Pancakes, which my son loved almost as much as Busch Gardens.

I recently stayed in Williamsburg, VA for two weeks. I found the Pineapple Inn & Housing Center to be exactly what I like. When I travel I prefer to stay in hostels and lower budget places and spend my money on the experience. The room I stayed in was a private room even though it had a full size bed and a bunk bed in it. It was clean and offered both a microwave and refrigerator as well as a private bathroom. I visited Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown & Yorktown as well as driving to visit the Virginia Marine Museum and Nauticus. The hotel was centrally located and was great. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I am hoping to come back to Williamsburg at the end of this year for Grand Illumination and will definitely stay at the Pineapple Inn & Housing Center on my return.

I've been staying at the Pineapple Inn for 4 months, and now I'm really thankful that I have chosen it. It is definitely more than just a place to make it through the night. The staff is very friendly, the room and the linen were clean, the pool was fresh and tidy. At the same time it was not hot during the summer, because the AC works in a good way. The location is also good. The outlet mall and the shops are in a walking distance. As well as the bust stop in case you don't have a car. It is easy to get to the historical part of the city. A huge thanks to the manager of Pineapple Amy, who made the time there a pleasure for me, and other students. I would recommend this place as one the few where you can actually enjoy the time.
