I have visited many B&Bs and was thrilled at the homeliness and charm of this location. The innkeeper Ike was a well traveled man and the house reflected his many trips. The room we stayed in, "The King William Suite" and was marvelous, from the king bed to the sitting room and the porch. We were able to relax and...

We stayed in the King William Suite which includes a lovely sitting room and a porch. The Inn is decorated with beautiful and interesting art and other items from around the world. It's such a comfortable place. The innkeeper Ike is a thoughtful gentleman who was so pleased that we were enjoying our stay. Everything has been thought of and...

We absolutely loved our stay at the williamsburg sampler. The location was perfect for touring the colonial town, the food was delicious, and different every morning, from egg nog French toast (best French toast I have ever had) to biscuits and gravy. The owner is so kind and hospitable, and a pleasure to visit with. All around a wonderful experience,...

No doubt about it--Williamsburg Sampler B&B is an outstanding and perfect place to stay! We stayed for a weekend but I wish we had more time to enjoy the house and get to know Ike and Lori better. They were both so personable! And Ike was always available to us if we needed anything, which we appreciated. Also, we really...

The Williamsburg Sampler is a wonderful B&B and we recommend it for any/all who love the B&B experience. Our suite was spacious, quiet, and restful, with a nice view of the yard. Our breakfast each morning was outstanding, offering a vast and diverse choice of food for the guests. Regardless of your food tastes, it was not possible for anyone...

Stayed for the weekend and both days were terrific. Ike was a wonderful host with great stories and helpful hints about seeing Williamsburg. Lori, the chef for the breakfast, was also very personable and offered great tips. Her breakfasts were terrific and plentiful. At least seven different breakfast options to choose from each morning. We stayed in one of the...

Interesting how built a late 1900's home & later is was turned into a lovely B&B. We agree that the breakfast vary, are good & PLENTYFUL. Ike is a great host in residence, and we enjoyed his conversation along with other guests at breakfast. The things he & his wife collected over the years are displayed though out the house....

Ike is the innkeeper. Such a kind and gracious host. He literally gives you the keys to his home. Come and go as you please and you will rarely see another guest, except for breakfast. The breakfast was superb, as was the interaction with the other guests! It is prepared each day by different chefs. Our last breakfast was prepared...

Ike, the owner of this B&B, is very welcoming and very interesting to talk to. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are excellent. There is so much beautiful food and is different every day. Ike gave us some muffins each day to take with us. Breakfast is usually at 8:30am each morning. On the day we were leaving we...
