What a gem we found! Affordable elegance on a beautiful street close to everything you'd come here to see and do. We had 2 suites on the second floor which were tastefully decorated and well equipped. The bed in the Magnolia Suite was so comfortable! We had one small housekeeping issue that Scott took care of immediately. He's a fun host who is very informative about the area, and he sure knows how to cook! I'd recommend Magnolia Manor for anyone coming to the Williamsburg area. *not ADA accessible
We stayed in the King Suit room, simple awesome! Separate living room, very large bedroom and large bathroom. Walking distance to some really nice restaurants and bars/Colonial Williamsburg. Scott was very friendly and helpful!
Paper thin walls, tacky decor, bathroom horribly outdated and in need of major renovation, Every creak or movement is heard by all. Sadly, we were next to guests thar sounded like laughing hyenas until almost midnight. One fart woke me up in the middle of the night....from the neighboring room! Breakfast was inedible, cold, wrapped in wax paper on a buffet. No juice, no fruit, no toast, not a breakfast..I am shocked at the positive reviews -- I suspect they aren't real reviews. Owner seemed nice guy but it was a scam. It's conveniently located and that's the only good thing about our stay.
This B&B was conveniently located, with ample parking for guests directly behind the house. Everything was clean, and the bedroom was nice with a comfortable bed. Tea and snacks were available throughout the day, and a warm (homemade!) breakfast was served each morning. Scott was a wonderful host, and kindly provided several tips for restaurants and local happenings. I would recommend this B&B for others visiting Williamsburg!
Great room, great bed, great host and great breakfast. What more do you want from B&B? We enjoyed our stay and would go back. Great location near William & Mary. We enjoyed interacting with other guests. Scott had good recommendations for places to eat in Williamsburg.
Short walking distance to the historic district. Wonderful and extremely knowledgeable host; he knows Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. Great breakfast. Felt like I was at home. Lots of parking. A+
Scott welcomed us and was very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The place was clean and furnished nicely. It was conviently located. Would give four stars but the breakfast was below average. Served late two mornings in a row.
We were welcomed by Scott, the host, upon our arrival as we traveled to VA for two local field hockey games and found this gem near the W & M campus. It was a very pleasant and fun stay. The walk in to historic Williamsburg and the college was easy and enjoyable from there. Lots of good eats in town and all who we encountered there were as equally as friendly. Truly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend!
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The food was good, and service was too. We had a great suite which had a bedroom and a living room. There is a nice patio outside, which has a fire pit. it is located very near the campus of the College of William and Mary.
The B & B is really affordable and we walked to Colonial Williamsburg and on the William and Mary campus. Scott made an absolutely incredible breakfast each morning. The room was very comfortable also and clean. In the evenings we enjoyed perusing the books on the coffee table which covered the history of how Colonial Williamsburg came to be with a history of each home. I definitely would stay here again if I am in the area.
