We booked this B&B because it was withing walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. It also offers off the street parking, which is good because Richmond Rd is very busy. The house is decorated with very nice antiques and current accessories to give it a very homey feeling. The owners daughter told us that " this is your home while you are here." There are 5 rooms, one being on the first floor. The Chef was assume, she prepared delicious breakfasts which carried us through almost all day. Each room has it's own bathroom which is very nice. Our room, the Blue Room faced Richmond Road and was across the side street from a church that tolled it's bells every hour from 8:00AM til 9:00PM. The B&B is also one block from the beautiful campus of William and Mary University so there were casual places close to eat at night if you did not want a fancy place. I could not sleep one night so I got up and went to kitchen which is always stocked with snacks and made some tea and sat in on of the cozy side rooms to peruse the many magazines available. This was a perfect place for us.

Our stay at Williamsburg Manor was perfect. We were on a road trip down the east coast and I didn’t want to stay in large brand hotels and this bed and breakfast really hit the spot. The house is decorated well, the bedroom was comfortable and having the use of the downstairs rooms makes the stay both interesting and comfortable. Refreshments are available throughout with great coffee on tap and breakfast was freshly made by Stephanie who was lovely and looked after us. I recommend staying here and would stay again.

We had a short but delightful stay at Williamsburg Manor! It was wonderful to be able to bring our golden retriever for a very small fee. The location is ideal for walking to the William and Mary campus and Colonial Williamsburg. Had we been there longer, I would have loved to spend some time in the garden area where there was plenty of inviting seating. There are many comfortable places inside with cozy sitting rooms, cookies and snacks. Our bedroom was small but had everything we needed including a comfortable bed, large TV and en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was amazing with fresh biscuits, eggs, hash browns, fruit crumble, yogurt etc. And since it was my birthday, I took a cupcake for the road that was delicious! We stop in Williamsburg often so I am happy to have discovered this place for future visits!

After not all gathering for 1 1/2 years due to covid, our family came together here to celebrate a belated 50th wedding anniversary.
We had a wonderful experience.
Fourteen of us, from around the country, stayed here for 5 nights and had a marvelous time.
The Manor is a historic home; well maintained and providing a comfortable retreat, while enjoying the delights of Williamsburg. It was within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg (for the more fit amongst us), and a very short drive for we less mobile old fartz.
The very greatest asset for our stay was Maggie, the remarkable creator of our breakfasts, and a couple of catered dinners. The breakfasts were varied, plentiful and always scrumptious; and the dinners were eloquent (with the help of her son), and very satisfying. There were snacks available throughout the day, and a seriously tempting coffee maker (with wonderful mochas and lattes) at the ready 24/7. If one didn't gain a pound or two after 5 days here, they just weren't trying.
The facility was welcoming to a group ranging in age from 2 to 74.
If one enjoys the B&B experience, one would be hard pressed to find a better option in the Williamsburg area.

The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays. There were treats and coffee all day long. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was superb! The only downside was that it got really cold in the downstairs room but they offered a space heater. It was only a 7-10 min walk to merchant square/ colonial Williamsburg. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and this was perfect staycation during the pandemic. Maybe offer breakfast in bed option to guests if they want to really socially distance? Great stay, highly recommend!

The room was very nice and clean. We had a wonderful time talking with the other families that stayed here. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious! I went to college at W&M, and I would highly recommend staying here instead of the local hotels. You can't have this kind of experience at a hotel.

Our very first time at an actual bed and breakfast. We didn't know what to expect but we were overly impressed. The accommodations were above and beyond our expectations. We chose the James Geddy Family Suite since we had 3 adults and a small dog. Since we got there before others, we were able to peek into all of the rooms and they were all immaculate and well furnished and decorated. There are also 3 sitting rooms downstairs as well as a dining room and kitchen. It was like being in our own home, really. There is also one bedroom downstairs in case you can't navigate steps. Breakfast provided by Val and her helper was absolutely delicious. Snacks were provided every afternoon also and you can help yourself to drinks anytime. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. The walk into downtown Colonial Williamsburg is 15 minutes at a leisurely stroll and sidewalks all the way. The Manor is just across the street from the college and in a residential area, so very little car traffic. Highly recommend and I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in the blue room in January 2020 and was very uncomfortable. The room was cooking hot with no thermostat to control. I was wasn't able to open a window. I layed awake all night listening to the dogs pant, and hoping it would cool down. In retrospect I wish I'd phoned the Innkeeper in the middle of the night but I did not. In the morning I found a remote control for the ceiling fan that may've helped but was only aware of a wall switch that did not turn the fan on. The temp in the hall and other rooms was fine. I left a note in the morning but not sure it was ever found, i.e. no response. Otherwise the place nice, clean, and breakfast was great. But I lost a whole night of sleep due to extreme temp...

Perfect place for my family—adult siblings, adult children with two kids, 6 and under—at a tough time, the death of my beloved elderly parent. Rooms were lovely, location perfect for walking to CW and WM. Breakfasts large and delicious. The holiday decorations brought us joy and added a welcoming touch for a small gathering of extended family after the service. Chef’s kitchen is spectacular and allowed us to prepare and serve food, with several welcome additions in the food and serving ware department. Host and staff were flexible and understanding while we were there, with prompt and clear communication before and during our stay. Many, many thanks!

We rented the entire bed and breakfast with our family for four days. Everything was ready when we arrived Friday. We all found our rooms inviting and comfortable. There were snacks and drinks available. We loved the coffee machine! The breakfasts prepared daily were delicious and provided us with the energy to enjoy Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg in the hottest of weather. The staff was friendly and professional. There was ample parking available for our entire family. We enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings before it got too hot and humid. We used the kitchen for a couple of our dinners so we could spend more time together at the house. There were many cozy rooms on the first floor that we could use to gather in. This beautiful 100 year old house is a gem!

Hello! I believe they are dog friendly. While I was there one of the guest that was traveling from California, had her dog with her. I didn't see him in the house, but she did have a little one with her. The inn keeper is lovely, I'd call & ask just to be sure. The place is lovely I hope it works out for you! Best-April
