We had so many problems from arrival. The room was not ready after almost 5pm when finally there we couldn’t even enter the room because a heavy smoke, it was impossible to breathe. The second day we woke up to no water or electricity because the condo had been sold and they were transferring The services to their new owners... we had to leave the room until the afternoon! They only offered 50 off. Worse experience ever!
Wow, what can I say, we stayed at the Kingsmill Resort for our Christmas holiday because of corvid restrictions and they have a lot of activities to do. They did have a lot of activities and the golfing grounds were superb, just ask my grandson. We had a wonderful Christmas diner, biking and just walking around the beautiful grounds along the James River, my grand kids loved it and hopefully we will be able to go again when restrictions have been lifted to enjoy even more activities.
We stayed at the Kingsmill Resort over the Thanksgiving holiday. Our flight (from Texas) arrived late on Thanksgiving Day. Our meal was delivered personally by John to our cottage. I highly suggest ordering one of the holiday meals if you live in the area--no kitchen to clean and all our favorites were included. It was a FEAST!! We stayed 4 nights at the resort. The rooms were spacious, clean and well stocked. It was like home away from home except I don't have those type of views---AMAZING, so peaceful, so relaxing!! We did some sight seeing around Williamsburg/Jamestown and played golf at the resort. Beautiful courses, well managed property. The staff was attentive, friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be going back in the near future. If you are looking for a place to stay in Williamsburg or surrounding area, this is the place. Teresa F.…
We stayed at the resort in August, and were very pleased with the accommodations. This is 2020, and during a pandemic, you have to realize that everything would not be available. With that in mind going in, we were very please with Kingsmill. The front desk staff was very helpful, and aside from onsite restaurants not being available, everything we looked for was available. Golf and pool were top-notch, and we rented bicycles for a couple hours. We stayed in the cabins by the river (one of five available), and it was almost too good to be true. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the view from the balconies was wonderful. We definitely recommend.
This is our 3rd time staying at Kingsmill Resort... our family loves it. Great place to go for walking, jogging, and exploring. The Golf and Tennis facilities look world class. Great place to go with the family whether it is exploring the first colonies or spending the day at Busch Gardens.
