My husband booked our trip and decide to do something different from the regular hotel, so the RESORT title caught his eye. DO NOT be fooled. It is in NO way a resort. We were put in a "villa" that is across TWO lots of other business. These had to have been "villas" in the 50's. The TV never worked (3 calls to front desk-NO help), the shower leaked and the room smelled musty and old. But they will gladly recommend you sit through the hour long Time Share program! NO THANK YOU!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!!

Dear valued guest, Thank you for leaving us feedback about your stay. We regret to learn that you were not satisfied with your room accommodations and the overall conditions of our resort. We hope that any urgent housekeeping and maintenance concerns were made aware to our staff so that we could make the proper adjustments. Your comments tell us that we have areas that need to be immediately addressed as this is far from the experience that we aim to deliver to our guests. We understand that your stay fell well below your expectations, but we hope that you will give us another opportunity to deliver the quality that you expect and deserve. Best, Sydney

I am a Westgate resort owner at the Orlando property. So when I just needed a quick one night stay in Williamsburg, I chose to be loyal to my timeshare. Man did I Make a mistake! The first room that I was assigned was in a string of one story rooms that were probably built in the 50s. I had to drive through a private restaurant’s parking lot to get over to it, so I know that this was an add-on. It smelled horrific, like the urine of several cats. The room was also the smallest room I’ve ever seen in a hotel. I was expecting at any minute to see Norman Bates pop up. I can’t believe that Westgate actually has put their name on this place! Thankfully the staff did reassigned me to the only studio that was available in the newer building but It was also pretty disappointing. They only had two double beds left. Not a very romantic room for my boyfriend and I. The shower is very small and this room felt dated as well. The TV is so old it’s fuzzy, not like today’s technology. I’m thankful that I didn’t spend a fortune on this room because I would’ve been extremely disappointed! I will never stay here again and will be very cautious when booking in the future with Westgate. How in the world ever got 3 1/2 stars is beyond me!

We needed a place that would accommodate a dog on this return trip to Williamsburg (we have a student at W&M.) This hotel looked nice and was convenient to campus so we gave it a try. It was perfect! The room, cottage-style, was very large. It was clean with plenty of space and two king-sized beds! Ample parking right outside and the staff was kind and accommodating. We didn't have time to use the many facilities (pools, mini-golf, lecture series, etc.) but would like to on a return visit. There is a hefty fee to accommodate the pets but we were aware of it in advance. It was very nice for what we needed. Not "luxurious" but fine. And we will definitely be back!

Room Tip: We stayed in a cottage. Parking was outside our door and lots of space around us.

While the stay started horribly because of the misinformation provided by the Airbnb host. Antonio and Jennifer, the staff at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure the correct information was provided as well as they went out of their way to make sure we were content with the room we were provided. I truly can't thank you enough for everything you did for us. Our honeymoon went quickly from great to a nightmare and thanks to you to two you were able to put a smile back on our faces.

We just spent a 4 day trip here. The two pools were fantastic. Our room was close to the smaller pool and it was great because it wasn’t crowded like the big pool. Staff was attentive and rooms are great for the price. It’s not a upscale resort but met all of our needs. Plus it’s close to Colonial Williamsburg and there are some good restaurants close by.
