This is just a stones throw from Colonial Williamsburg and College of William and Mary and a little shopping and dining area in between the two. Basically quiet area although there is an occasional Amtrak train nearby. Clean, pool and a popular breakfast although I did not partake. Definitely a bargain and good choice.

This hotel was a great value and location. It's a part of the colonial Williamsburg hotel list which gives you special perks such as discounts to colonial attractions. The hotel staff was very friendly, the breakfast was continental but offered many different options, and the room was basic, but decent. One of the comforters had some type of stain on... More

We stayed overnight this past Sunday and was very pleased with our stay. Our room was clean and the sleep was very peaceful. There are no elevators to get to the second floor.(At least I didn't see any). We had to walk up stairs to get to our room so make sure you request accommodations if you cant walk the... More

We visited Williamsburg in June for our first visit with our six year old son. I was hesitant at first due to the pictures I saw on other websites. After I read more reviews we decided to give it a try. For the price and location you can't beat this deal. This is the closest hotel to downtown Williamsburg. We... More

This seems to be mainly a family place so it's full of families and noisy kids and may not be so nice for solo travellers and couples. My room was pretty noisy ie I could hear the people next door talking and coughing. Luckily I always bring ear plugs just in case. It is just a short 10 minute walk... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night, the check in staff was quick and easy, no major hassles. However, they must be remodeling or having issues with somethings because the power flickered and air conditioning struggled. Parking is weird and you'll be lucky to find something close to your room. Walls are like paper because you can hear... More

You're right in the heart of colonial Williamsburg! It's clean, the staff is very friendly, a continental breakfast, discount's on the area attractions, and you're right there where all the action is, all at moderate price. What more could you possibly ask for? We had to leave earlier than we had planned for, due to a business obligation, but we... More

I originally contacted what I was told was the office in charge of the official Colonial Williamsburg hotels about my stay, but it's been nearly two months and I've yet to get a response, so I'll offer more public feedback. We stayed for 3 nights. I called the hotel ahead of time and told them my mother and I would... More

I stayed at Governors Inn for 6 nights. The room was very clean and did have a fridge. The commode seats are very low. I am handicapped and requested a room but was told their weren't any...at all! I had a blood sugar drop one afternoon and called the front desk to see if I could have a donut or... More

Upon first sight of the hotel, I was taken aback; not what I expected from the name. However, the staff was nice, the rooms were clean and cool (it was very hot & humid when we visited) Great location, nice free continental breakfast. We were within walking distance of the attractions, but chose to drive to the visitors center and... More
