We stayed for the weekend for our annual company appreciation party and everything was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, the food was delicious, the rooms were clean. The only thing that I was hoping to experience that I didn't was seeing a spirit!

It's true that Fort Magruder has some age on it, but the staff could not be nicer and the room was very clean. Obviously, the hotel is still making upgrades and still in transition, but for all of that the changes that have thus far been made are very nice. Don't expect anything

I stayed here with my significant other for NYE and was really impressed just by how BIG the room was! It was a lot for two people, however, I still enjoyed how much space there was. This hotel would also be great for family reunions because the rooms are big and they have a

To answer your question: Fort Magruder Hotel has Junior Suites on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. Each Junior Suite does have a balcony! Each Junior Suite comes with a King bed and a pull out sofa sleeper in the adjacent space. The sofa bed is not in a separate room but there is a bit of a partition to separate the space. The King size bed space has a TV and the sofa space has its own TV. Each Junior Suite comes with a fridge, coffee maker with regular and decaf, and a hair dryer and ironing board (you may ask for an iron from the front desk). There is plenty of space so you will not be stepping on each other! Also, you have free Wi-Fi and parking is convenient. I hope this answers all your questions! They are still under renovation so be sure to call and make sure they have what you are looking for (Laurie at the front desk is very helpful - 757-220-2250)

Hello carfor2, Thank you for reaching out to us! The restaurant may still be under construction during that time but they are almost complete. The indoor pool is currently up and running but they are still working on the outdoor pool. I hope I have answered all of your questions. If you have anymore, feel free to contact us directly at 757-220-2250. Thank you.

I would recommend contacting the hotel to ask your question about whether the pools will be open. I am certain that they are in a better position to know than a guest who has stayed there.
