The hotel was ok, WIFI wasnt working and the remote control was disgusting. I shouldnt have to clean the remote control and there was debris in the toilet that i had to flush. ICE Machine wasnt working at all

Was here last year too and since Windham too over I noticed a few changes. First, there is a $40 pet fee now. There was none last year. There is a side entrance on the First Floor and last year (and maybe the year before too) the chandler needed some light bulbs replaced. They were replaced. The staff are always great and always friendly. The TV does take a while to change the channels, but the selections are great. (Lots better than what we get at home.) The breakfast is good and the lady who takes care of the breakfast is great. This is what we look for when we are on vacation, a nice, reasonably priced hotel that is also pet friendly and clean. The staff listens when you ask for something. I requested a room away from the front of the hotel, as the dog barks at anyone coming by the front windows. We were given a room facing the back of the hotel. Great job!

Staff was very accommodating. They remembered us the next morning. We stayed two nights and had great service. Location was perfect for all the places we wanted to see. Rooms were nicely updated and clean.

Just back from a 1 week multiple State/multiple hotel adventure and who would of thought the oldest and least expensive hotel would be the overall best of the bunch? Yes, the building is older and the makeover strictly cosmetic but from a value prospective, hospitality and location, no complaints from me. Yes, the bathrooms are small, the orangey decor odd, the hallway ceilings low and the parking lot smallish and puddled but the Front Desk Staff was uniformly fantastic, nice outdoor landscaping...our room and the public areas were clean, the bed comfortable, the pillows decent and considering the number of dogs and children staying there, our room was by far the quietest of the trip. Lots of places to eat, a fairly decent 7-eleven right next door and Busch Gardens just down the way. Only real complaints were a TV that took way too long to move from channel to channel along with a sporadic loss of signal and certain blocks of rooms/hallways that literally sounded like a kennel there were so many dogs. It appeared the hotel staff were keeping all the dogs and their owners in one area of the hotel so thankfully we only had to hear the incessant barking while walking toward the lobby area. We could hear a kid periodically next door to our room but it appeared his parents taught him how to use his quiet voice indoors...we appreciated that. We didn't partake in the complimentary breakfast but we did hear it was very good and again the Front Desk staff and really all of the staff we interacted with were friendly and pleasant. But do yourself a favor...understand this is a budget hotel before you book...don't go into the stay expecting a Ritz-Carlton experience at a Laquinta price-point an everything will be just fine. Again, "Thank you" to the great staff at this hotel. Until we meet again.
