The property is in a good location, however, it does need attention from management. During our stay we booked two suites , the TV in one of them did not function. Wifi in the rooms did not work either. The hotel claims that the pool is heated. However, its not monitored. In the evening , the water was cold and the pump was not running. The pool temperature needs to be monitored during the course of the day and not just in the morning. Although the breakfast served on our first day was good, on the second day there was no fresh breakfast served. You had to get the breakfast from the Omlette station and they essentially served you sausages and pancakes from the previous day. I did not expect this at a Hilton run hotel. The management needs to pay attention to these details.

With the exception of our air conditioning taking a good while to cool our room & the pool being closed without explanation we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was wonderful! With covid restricting many things, we were extremely happy to find a place that offered more than a bagged breakfast with a muffin & juice. The breakfast we were served was great & our children enjoyed being able to come down first thing in the morning. The complimentary drinks in the atrium was also a very nice surprise. It made life and traveling feel more normal than it has for the last year. We will definitely be back to stay here.

We were excited to stay at an Embassy Suite. ES have always been excellent. This one -- old and dreary and small. What looks they did was take a normal small hotel room and put a wall between the two halves -- jam two beds in -- jam furniture in -- and call it a suite. Rooms are poorly lit, and with the cramped room stuffed with furniture, there was hardly room to walk without running into your partner. I can't imagine ever staying there again.

For 3 days tge elevator on on side of the hotel was not working , not one employee thought to put a sour Of Order sign on each elevator door on ALL 8 Floors , you stand there waiting for an elevator that is not coming, I’ve stayed here many times , but no more , tge staff is pleasant, but the problems I’ve encountered EACH TIME I’ve stayed , not giving my funds to hotel that do the bare minimum to upkeep the hotel , Kitchenette sink fell out once , the mini micro fridge is Ez bake oven size , cable tv , no signal several times per each stay , shower drain clogged , ceiling AC unit humming is annoying, etc etc etc

I enjoyed our stay at Embassy. I was there for a job/family trip to Busch Gardens. Great customer service by the employee that night when we arrived. I wish I would have got his name. Very nice guy and rooms were cleaned only issue was the smell in the room but it wasn’t bad, but my nose very sensitive but overall Great atmosphere and the location was awesome..not to far from restaurants definitely would stay there again :)

We tried this hotel on the recommendation of a co-worker but were fairly disappointed overall. The hotel feels a bit run down, particularly in the rooms, and is sorely in need of a complete refurbishment of the rooms. The issues started with check-in, and despite being a Gold member, having absolutely no recognition or benefit from that status. I was told some vague information about "drinks and snacks" in the bar area, but when I went to obtain them later in the evening, I was told that they were only available from 5-7pm, which the front desk did not mention at all. Unlike my experiences this year at Doubletree, Hampton Inn, and Hampton Garden Inn, there was no bottled water offered at check-in nor in the room. A minor issue, especially since water was available for purchase at a decent price, but indicative of the service overall. The room itself was fine...for 10-20 years ago. The furniture was dated and worn, and the room overall was reminiscent of Embassy Suites that I remember from about 2008. There was mold on the wall of the shower enclosure in the grout lines, and the ceiling in the shower area was peeling. The shower basin was incredibly slippery, and despite being normally surefooted, I almost fell the first time I went to take a shower. I suspect that whatever was used to clean the floor left a very slick residue. The shower barely had cool water, mostly hot water, which was disappointing after a couple very hot days. We found some small trash and debris on the floor in the room as well. On the plus side, the bed was fairly comfortable. The pillows were not the best to us, though their big, floppy nature might be pleasing to some. The AC was working well. Water pressure was adequate. The best highlight was the cheerful and friendly woman making omelets at breakfast. Not only was she a great ambassador for the hotel with her attitude, but her omelets were outstanding, easily the equal of anything you could buy at one of the many breakfast places in Williamsburg. One peculiar note for our ground floor room -- there was no sheer curtain, only the heavy blackout curtain on the window. Since we faced the parking lot and were directly on the patio for the pool, we either had to close the curtains and rely on artificial light, or open the curtains and allow anyone to peer into the room, which was not appealing. I haven't seen a hotel without sheer curtains of some sort as far back as I can remember, regardless of brand.

Ok, Honest review here. The building itself NEEDS ATTENTION. Smells musty. Little damp. Only ONE elevator works. BUT THE STAFF!!! These guys take very good car of you! Think of it like staying at grandmas house. The conditions my not be ideal, but grandma makes you feel loved and cared for. Kudos on hiring well... now, fix the freak'n elevator, and dry out the place!

We stayed here with a large group this weekend none of the rooms had AC that worked well. Only one elevator worked so we took the stairs to not have to wait so long. However the stairwell smells terrible and there is mold everywhere. We were expecting a higher class hotel for the price.

We arrived as a large group. The groups manager introduced herself upon arrival. Mitch and bar staff was very friendly and hospitable. Maintenance problems with the elevator only 1 out of the 2 worked. 90+ degrees during the stay and the hotel AC in the public areas did not work.
