After having read some reviews of the surrounding hotels, I decided to book two rooms here for the family. I'm glad I did as the location was great for the price. We were only 15ish minutes from Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg was right down the street from us. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The only real issue that we had was that there were only two waffle makers for breakfast. If only there were 15 of them, then there wouldn't be much of a line! LOL! Overall, the family enjoyed our stay here and will definitely consider returning in the future!
We stayed here for 5 nights, before meeting up with the rest of our family for 5 more days at a nearby B&B. The facility is clean and well-maintained. Our check-in was efficient; and the staff, throughout our stay, were helpful and responsive. Our room provided a comfortable retreat during our stay. Two issues, a clogged sink and a non-functioning phone, were both addressed efficiently. A requested cleaning of our room, halfway through our stay, was missed; but taken care of the next day. The breakfasts were varied and satisfying; with the breakfast staff keeping items stocked pretty well, and keeping the eating area clean & ordered. (We know the limitations due to covid, but we look forward to the coffee service being available again at Hampton Inns 24/7). The location of this facility is central to much of what Williamsburg has to offer re shopping/dining/attractions. This is a solid option, if one is staying in the area. …
Someone came into our room while we were gone, proven by the logs the manager gave us, and left a dirty condom in our dirty clothes, that we found when we did laundry back at home. After numerous calls/emails with the hotel manager and corporate, no one seems to care. I genuinely am disgusted by this and the fact that everyone we have spoken to, has tossed us aside, like it isn't a big deal. We have been Hilton Honors members for 15 years and will NEVER stay at a Hilton Hotel again.
-Possibly the most attractive Hampton Inn that I have experienced. -Newer bathroom with corner sink. -Attractive room. Clean. -Enough towels stocked for two nights! -Excellent value for the accommodations. -Breakfast ends at 9:30. Do not get there at 9:15, there is nothing left. -Breakfast is good but they don't have the range of waffle toppings that other Hampton inn locations usually stock.
We stayed for most of the week at Hampton. It's right on the main road of Williamsburg, so it's convenient to everything. Rooms were very clean, and the staff very friendly. We liked the table in the room to put our stuff on as we came in the door. Very good water pressure! The breakfast selection was not the greatest, but I wouldn't deduct a star for it.
Avoid this hotel. The first room that was assigned to me was right next to the elevator shaft. It is a mystery why a room would be placed here. Needless to say my family was treated to the noise of an elevator every few minutes. To their credit, the hotel allowed me to change rooms. It wasn’t any better. The walls are paper thin and my family was entertained all night by the rowdy group next door. No one next door slept and neither did we. The free breakfast is standard stuff. Huge line to make waffles, mediocre hot food, minimal cereal and fruit selection. Bagels ran out & I waited 15 minutes for more to be brought out & finally gave up. Don’t stay here. You’ll regret it.
The room was very nice. It was decorated beautifully & the bathroom was very up to date. The beds slept good. My only complaint is that the beds are too high, especially if you are short & it is hard to get into. The breakfast looked ok but it was not what we were looking for so we went out & ate. The staff was very friendly & attentive. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t good. There were no choices for eggs, western omelettes were there 2 days. We think there should have been a choice or least scrambled. There was no bread for toast. Coffee was good. Workers were pleasant.
A very accommodating Hampton Inn. Attentive staff, clean rooms, quiet atmosphere. Breakfast as expected, but not quite back to pre pandemic variety Many restaurants nearby. Grateful for allowing us early access to our room on a day when the weather was uncooperative. Would definitely return.
Hotel is clean and close to everything. Had to call to have someone come to the front to check in but they may have been in restroom. Breakfast was ok. Waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, sausage, juice and coffee. Beds were hard, not comfortable at all. And the biggest issue was we were in 213 room is next to the elevator and it kept us up all night you actually hear the elevator through the walls go up and down...loud. so make sure you request a room far from elevator
