I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Williamsburg on a late summer Friday. It was difficult to find an inexpensive hotel with good ratings. I found the Sleep Inn with good ratings and it was even better thank I hoped. The room was large, and it was very clean. Their continental breakfast was nice. They had waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, bagels, toast, cereal, pastries, etc. They were also good at refilling the hot foods so the scrambled eggs were great. I don’t know if there’s anything hotels can do about guests smoking pot in non-smoking rooms. Thank you for a nice, clean and an inexpensive hotel room.
The hotel I stayed at in Williamsburg during my last visit wasn't available, so I read reviews and chose the Sleep Inn Historic. I am very happy with my choice. The location felt safe. It is right next to a Comfort Inn, right behind Golden Corral, and right next to a Cracker Barrel. A Mexican restaurant was across the street. A Chipotle was just over the bridge. The air conditioner in my room worked well; there was a constant fan option. The TV, wifi, and fridge all worked. My room only had a shower; the water was nice and hot. Breakfast included donuts, muffins, cereal, waffles, toast, yogurt, bagels, fruit, juice, coffee, eggs, and sausage. The only negative of my stay was the very soft mattress, but I slept OK. If I visit Williamsburg again, I would most likely stay here again.…
I booked two rooms for 08/18 to 08/19. At the front desk, I was greeted and checked in by Andre Hill. He is great, efficient, and friendly. The rooms were cleaned, and the service was great. We will be staying there again for our next visit to Williamsburg.
The room was very nice, quiet, and clean. Breakfast was very good with Hot choices. We initially asked for another room because the first's rooms air conditioner was noisy, it rattled when coming on. They obliged. You can't hardly see the hotel from the main road so look for a road between the Golden corral and Cracker Barrel and it's down that access road from there.
I stayed at the Matthews NC location. It is ccmfortable, nice style, good staff, breakfast good, pool nice, good staff, always had what I needed, when my TV wasn't working the manager, staff fixed yea.
My family stayed on the third floor. We actually chose to just use the stairs since the elevator was on one end of the hotel and our room was on the opposite. It was convenient since the stairs let out at the back parking area and we were always able to find a park. The room was very clean, I have no complaints about that. The beds were comfortable, the mini fridge worked great, and we always had towels. I did opt for the partial room service, they will ask you at check in. That worked just fine, we had clean towels and trash was emptied. That's really all we need. Pool was okay, we didn't use as much as we thought we would, but that was due to other guests being extremely loud. Breakfast was nice. It included waffles, eggs, sausage, 2 types of cereal, juice, small muffins, yogurt and prepackaged oatmeal. It was good enough for us and got us going in the morning. All things considered, I would absolutely stay here again. It was clean and safe and a good location.…
we stayed in room 211 217 219 room 211 and 217 had roaches manager said everbody has roaches so its ok then i was told that he checked the rooms and he didnt see any so they dont exist though not infested they exist hotel fairly clean comtable
Stayed here one night while visiting the Williamsburg area. The location was great for exploring the area with plenty of shops and restaurants around. The staff was friendly and there were plenty of breakfast options. The hotel isn’t fancy and it’s older, but seems well maintained and price and location are right.
With the budget-friendly price, I didn't expect to like this hotel as much as I did. The room is basic, building is old but clean and comfortable. There was a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room. The breakfast was mostly pastries and coffee, but packaged omelets and yoghurt were available. I appreciated the fresh fruit (apples, bananas and oranges) with prepackaged peanut butter, since I have a gluten allergy and can't have most continental breakfast offerings. The most exceptional thing about this hotel is their staff. Friendly, helpful and seemingly happy in their jobs. We will be coming back.
The location of the complex is close to the city center and is very well positioned. Welcoming with a smiling face and the attention of the staff towards the guests are pleasing. The beds are very comfortable, everything you may need in the room is available.
