A very hospitable, clean and quiet inn just a couple of blocks from The Inn at Little Washington and far less expensive. Our room was very comfortable and we wanted for nothing in terms of amenities. Even though we had eaten hugely at The Inn, the breakfast at Gay Street was so delicious we couldn’t resist eating again. Highly recommend a stay here.

This was our first post vaccine trip and the first time we had seen family in over a year. Drew and Deb made the experience perfect. We spent three nights at the Inn and enjoyed every minute. Contactless checkin, comfortable beds and great breakfasts. Drew is available if you need him and has an endless supply on request of good information about day trips, hikes, wineries, and local restaurants. We e stayed at the Gay Street Inn through three different owners, and Drew and Deb are the best!

My husband and I finally got our COVID vaccinations and decided to take that long-awaited get-away. The Gay Street Inn was a splendid stop during our travels. What a beautiful old home converted into private suites! It was a perfect combination of comfort and quiet. Everything was clean, and our bed was just what we needed for a good night's rest. The breakfast was delicious, and we would definitely return if we took a trip tjis way again!

The best B&B ever. The champagne, size and condition of room and the breakfast exceeded all expectations. The hosts were married couple and owners for last three years and have taken personal interest in the affairs of B&B. Hard to duplicate

We booked two nights at the Gay Street Inn with several friends so we could gather to celebrate our upcoming 50th anniversary. Drew and Deb are wonderful hosts and the rooms were all very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts in their sunny room with good suggestions for our outings from Drew. We had one dinner at the Inn at Little Washington which is the premier destination for any special event, but we also enjoyed a second dinner at the Blue Door Kitchen in Flint Hill and a charming lunch on picnic tables at Off the Grid as we came off of Skyline Drive after a morning of pleasant wandering. We would highly recommend this charming spot and do hope to return soon.
