My husband and I stayed for one evening, and enjoyed a fabulous dinner. Getting seated in the kitchen was such a treat. The meal was excellent, and we really enjoyed Dawn's and Zoe's company. Breakfast the following morning was phenomenal too. We've been telling all our friends about this place and plan to come back. Thank you for a wonderful...

Cozy rooms, spectacular food, warm and welcoming. Zoe and her chef mother dawn, treat you like family and enthusiastically make sure every need is met. The biggest bonus is the food. Warm scones and locally brewed coffee welcome you in the morning, the next 3 courses which included fresh fruit, lobster, cherry smoked bacon were amazing taste treats. We dined...

I just returned from a small family gathering at the Foster Harris House. All of us agreed that this was truly a lovely spot. The inn itself is beautifully furnished. Each room is unique and inviting. The best part of our stay however, was the food and the hospitality from the new management team, Dawn and Zoe (Dawn’s daughter) Sieber....

Dear Kevin D. Words cannot describe how very fortunate I feel to have found such a quality Inn and have Chef Dawn and Zoe taking care of our guests while I am still detained in LA. Rarely does one encounter a B&B with the almost universal plaudits that TripAdvisor shows for the Foster Harris House. We're happy to report that the new owners and their staff are continuing their top-flight service. Dawn and Zoë were gracious and welcoming hosts, treating us like long-lost family, and the quality of the meals was outstanding. We stayed for two...

My stay with my wife was a birthday gift from my children. We have been to Washington, Virginia and had never visited this Foster Harris House. We arrived on a cold, blustery afternoon and was greeted by a Zoe, young lady with a warm welcome greeting. Our room was nicely decorated with an adjoining sitting room overlooking the grounds. Both...

Dear eugenesussman, Thank you very much for your very kind and inspirational comments. Most of the times we eat to satisfy hunger and occasionally, we dine for sheer pleasure. It is our goal to not only provide beautiful and comfortable accommodations, but it is equally important to us, to provide a pleasurable dining (also breakfast) experience to all our guests....

We chose the Mountain View room for our one night stay, which was perfect. The bedroom itself was large. The bedroom lead to a connected space with an absolutely gorgeous view of the mountains. That lead to a small but very nicely appointed bathroom with a fantastic shower. We used only the rain shower head, but there were hand held...

We went to Washington, Virginia to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday and had an amazing stay at the Foster Harris House. The home had a terrific old country home feel and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was out of this world delicious. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Foster Harris House as part of our long weekend getaway exploring Virginia's wineries, meaderies, and breweries. The hospitality, accommodations, and service at the House were exceptional. While Klaus and company assert that they are new to this, you'd never know if they didn't tell you.
