We were generously give a gift certificate to the Blue Rock Inn for a wedding present and were finally able to use it this past Friday. Donna, the manager, was very helpful with recommending the Shiraz room when I called to make our last minute reservation. Being the (extreme) low season in the Shenandoah Valley, we had the whole place...

This small (5 rooms) country B&B is great. We spent 2 nights celebrating our anniversary and were not disappointed. The rooms are small but all have private baths and LOW ceilings - if you are over 6'2' beware of your head. All beds are queen size posture pedics and most have direct access to their 2nd floor deck where you...

Four of us spent a very pleasant afternoon and night at the Blue Rock Inn in July. The rooms are very attractive and comfortable. Donna, the manager on duty, was very helpful - bringing us champagne flutes to drink the champagne we had brought along to celebrate a birthday. I left behind a book I was reading and was very...

My boyfriend (now fiance) proposed on top of Mary's Rock this past Saturday. He planned THE PERFECT weekend...after we finished our hike, he told me there was still another surprise! He drove us out into the BEAUTIFUL country off 211 and we ended at The Blue Rock Inn. We stayed in the Champagne Room...I DEFINITELY recommend this room! There was...

A great place for a getaway in or near both Virginia Wine country and Virginia Horse country. We stayed here because the Inn at Little Washington was much more expensive, and never missed a beat. The staff was very friendly and helpful made us fell really at home. Breakfasts, included with the room charge were both fabulous, and we ate...

We found the Blue Rock Inn by accident. We were going to celebrate my birthday at the Inn at Little Washington and I made a reservation for the night at the close by Middleton Inn. Because of a mix-up we discovered the day before my birthday dinner that we did not have a reservation. We quickly scrambled to find an...

On July 21, 2013 we dined at Blue Rock. The check came to $95.08 total for the two of us. We each gave the waitress our credit cards and asked her to split the bill in half. The waitress came back shortly with our "two" checks, each showed a charge of $89.08. We called her back and from then on...

The Blue Rock is a wonderful boutique inn located near Washington VA, close to Shenandoah National Park. We had an exceptional stay there - from the staff (Donna in particular) who went out of their way to make us comfortable, to the room which was lovely and had one of the best mattresses I've ever slept on outside of my...

I stopped by the Blue Rock Inn one Sunday. I always enjoy it when the hostess sneers at me and asks me if I have a reservation; no, I stopped on the spur of the moment. I was finally seated in the pub – a charmingly appointed room with no servers in it. A family was seated in the pub,...

We enjoyed our time here. We had a great dinner onsite. Fine dining right downstairs from a comfortable room. The staff was helpful without being overbearing. Great location just outside of Little Washington and between clusters of VA wineries. I will recommend this place to friends and I plan to return one day on another "wine trip."
