Our hosts, Martin and Saskia, were absolutely delightful and it really felt as though we were popping in to see friends rather than paying guests. The house is fantastic and the room was beautiful overlooking the huge garden where comfy loungers were dotted around and there was also a refreshing pool. Parking was just outside the gate and it was... More

What a wonderful place to stay . A short 5 minute drive from souillac town centre . An oasis of tranquility with understated chic vintage elegance. Saskia & Martin were the perfect hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area . Perfect to know when you are in the area for a short stay and you can get... More

We stayed at La Prieure for 3 nights. The welcome was fantastic from the owners, we were shown around and taken to our room. The room was spotlessly clean with nice bedding and a small en suite with shower. It was very quiet with no problem getting to sleep. The breakfasts were great everything you could want, with homemade jams... More

We had the chance to stay at "Le Prieure" for 2 weeks on our France adventure. We absolutely loved the place; Martin and Saskia were fantastic hosts! We enjoyed great conversations, exchanged stories and were welcomed very warmly, you feel like you are friends already for a long time. The gite we have booked is tastefully done, well equipped, comfortable... More

We feel conflicted about this review because as many others have stated, this is a nice place to stay. The place is very clean and breakfast is very good. That however, for us, didn't make up for the shortcomings of the property owners. It actually kind of put a damper on our time there. When we came we got very... More

What a marvellous place. We stayed 7 nights in September. The large room with the terrace was wonderful. So spacious, with views of the swimming pool and wonderful extensive garden scattered with loungers and tables and chairs. Made to feel at home. Started the day with a good French breakfast, and suggestions from Martin and Saskia on plans for our... More

A super nice and quiet athmosphere in fantastic surroundings, just to mention the Dordongene river and all the Chateaus with beautifull gardens. At the Prieure' the room was spacius and service friendly. The Prieure' fulfilled all our expectations and worthwhile to visit again.
