Friendly staff, good value. Breakfast was served in our rooms w/ picnic basket within minutes of a phone call. Too cute. We had a loft room with it's own deck. Lovely surroundings. We decided to go to the Allegheny mountains instead of staying on Skyline Dr after visiting Monticello. Took Goshen Pass. Well worth the visit. We did not have... More

Exceptional restaurant, quiet location, roomy living room and bedroom, set in a beautiful valley in the Virginia mountains and natural warm springs to soak in. What more could you ask for? We stayed here in July and are already planning to go back next year. Great innkeepers who really understand how to run a B&B. We were impressed with the... More

We don't usually stay at B &B's but this one was just delightful. the staff was so friendly. the rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. Free WiFi. The breakfast is delivered to your room when you call between 7-10. and it was delicious and filling. It is a quiet setting. we had the 'quilt' room and enjoyed the... More

We loved our stay at this wonderful Inn. The rooms were spacious and attractively decorated with all the comforts of home. The surrounding area is peaceful and scenic. The breakfast basket delivered to your door each morning was fantastic and such a treat. The innkeepers are friendly and helpful, too. Do not miss eating dinner in the outstanding restaurant. It... Caveat: Experienced travelers not expecting perfection. Have been in B&Bs that ranged from "OMG what am I doing here?" to "this is really fantastic." There isn't a whole lot to Warm Springs proper, and this location is really on the fringes. It is a quiet location, and there aren't a whole lot of things to do within walking distance. Be... More

This is our second visit to this inn. On both occasions, we have had outstanding experiences. If you are looking for the perfect combination of a historic site with fairly modern conveniences in a most charming setting and inviting and restful environment, Grist Mill is the perfect place. The breakfast served in room is an experience. Everything is freshly brewed,... More

We didn't stay overnight here (we were at The Homestead), but were looking for other options for dinner. This was recommended - and it was wonderful!! Food and service was perfect. It's small, so reservations are a must, but you can clearly see everything is meticulous. I had the rib eye which was perfect, the pasta is home made, the... More

Stayed at the Inn at Gristmill Square to celebrate our anniversary. Very relaxing 24 hours! Stopped at the Jefferson Pools before heading over to the inn for check-in. Drove around a bit to check out the area and stopped at a couple local shops. Returned to the inn for a dip in the pool, cleaned up and headed across the... More

My husband and I ride motorcycles and the mountains of Virginia are beautiful. We discovered this wonderful destination by accident and it was a very pleasant accident. The ride up to the Inn was stunningly beautiful. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional. We had a beverage in the Simon Kenton Pub and had dinner in the Waterwheel Restaurant and... More
