We arrived at 6:30 after 10 hours in the car. The owner welcomed us and walked us to our room in house across the road. It was much larger than expected. A full sitting room of our own with a large TV, refrigerator (with two bottles of complimentary water), two delicious homemade cookies, and nice, rustic furniture. The separate bedroom...

This place is great if you like history and a more relaxed, quite time, no rushing just enjoy the peacefulness. It is like you in a museum and they let you touch everything and let you sleep in the bed. Every room has reference for some historic thing. We stayed in the Dinwiddie Room, it was very spacious, big bathroom...

We stayed in the Barley room. They own a few houses on the same street and the one we stayed in was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious, the bathroom was about the same size as the bedroom. Very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing. You just call when you are ready...

My husband and I were travelling backroads from Richmond, Virginia to West Virginia on scenic Hwy. 39. We had no reservations as we had no real schedule. We arrived at the quaint, historic town of Warm Springs and decided to leave the highway and check out the town. A big red building with a water wheel appeared, and we saw...

Loved the old mill, but the food was disappointing. My husband ordered the lamb, which was just okay. I ordered the bread pudding for dessert and it was microwaved, so it tasted rubbery. All in all, it was a let down from what we were expecting.

My first stay was due to business in the area. I was late arriving as my partner's flight was late. He called ahead and the restaurant closed at 8:30 so Alex had us a dinner prepared when we arrived. He escorted us to our rooms and brought along a fantastic dinner of filet, homemade augrautin potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. A...

This is a charming little village for relaxing. I would add that if you are looking for new and modern, this is not for you. If you are looking for a charming B & B this is the place to stay. Our floors creaked a lot and we were concerned about the guest below us when we got up in...

Quaint, quiet, and cozy. Great weekend getaway close to hiking, waterfalls, and the Homestead. Have never seen so many fireflies at once, under a dark starry sky over by the pool. Employees were friendly but respectful of privacy. We stayed in Silo room, very cool round room with wonderful shower and Jacuzzi tub. Did smell faintly of must like odor....

We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn. We were welcomed by Alex who did a great job settling us in. Our dinner at the Waterwheel was fantastic and our breakfast in the morning satisfying. If we come up from Florida this way again we'll make it a point to stay here.

This is a lovely old Inn. Our suite was very nice, with a great king bed, and comfortable sitting room. A nice feature is that they deliver all breakfasts to the rooms at the time of your choosing. Fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee cake, fruit yogurt, and a pot of good strong coffee. So, why the 3 stars you ask? We...
