I was a bit under the weather when I arrived on Sangat. After 5 days there I felt on top of the world. Amazing place to relax and "recharge the batteries". Great food, amazing view from beach and very hospitable staff. Wreck dives and reef dives are interesting but not too difficult as they are close to the shore. Busunga... More

Sangat Island Dive Resort is such a lovely resort with excellent staff. We were at Sangat for 9 nights with a group of 13 divers and 5 non divers. We were greeted at Busuanga Airport and were transferred by a few vans to an inlet where we were transferred by boat to Sangat Island, the scenery was breathtaking on the... More

We stayed for two weeks, more than most, but it was worth it. The reefs are stunning in fabulous condition teaming with sea life from huge turtles ( I mean size of a table huge) to the tiny pipe fish. The dive centre was fully equipped and the staff very experienced, even jojo and Will the prof was great a... More

Sangat is a dive resort attracting a worldwide clientele primarily for wreck diving. The location substantially reduces boat time when accessing sites in the area (vs. staying in Coron Town). High quality equipment is available (per other guests; we did NOT dive), and the divemaster (Jojo) and staff were incredibly organized. As non-divers, we still enjoyed the excellent house reef... After an exciting landing at Busuanga airport we were met by the Sangat courtesy pickup team to take us to the island, approximately 20 mins to boat dock.Once on board we had the transfer to the island, simply stunning scenery, and as we rounded the far end we had the view of the beach and jetty that was to be our home for... I visited Sangat island during a trip to visit friends in the Philippines and couldn't have asked for more! The rooms were perfect, clean and big. The food was delicious, with lots of choice for everyone and really fresh ingredients and we never went hungry. Diving was also incredible with really knowledgable instructors, good equipment and loads of interesting dive... More

We were meant to write this a long time ago but here it comes. Sangat was the best place we visited in the Philippines. We came as guests and left as a part of the Sangat family. Spending a lot of nights listening to Will's amazing stories from his incredible life was a highlight. Luke (piestalker) was the head of... More

We stayed here for ten nights in May. Got back today indeed! We were extremely unhappy to leave having had a fabulous time in a very friendly resort where the mix of land beauty is matched by the amazing wreck diving. If you want five star accomodation in a resort with hectic nightlife then please do not go here. The... More

I don't easily give a full score of 5, but this place deserves it. It is not particularly cheap, and it is not as luxurious as some of its competitors, but it was a fantastic experience and well worth the money. The place is like from a picture postcard - the sandy beach with palms, rugged mountain sides, more islands... More
