Hotel's Favorite
While it doesn’t look like much on the outside, we were pleasantly surprised with how nice our room was! It definitely seemed like it had recently been remodeled as the floors throughout the room were a beautiful grey & the furniture seemed brand new. We enjoyed all of the staff as they were extremely friendly & willing to accommodate our numerous trips to get towels for 7 people. We appreciated the fact that the front desk staff offered us bracelets for each of our children that had the hotel name & telephone number on it, just in case it was needed. I’ve also never been to a hotel that will allow you to continue to park in their parking lot to enjoy the beach after you check out. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the time to do so but it was offered & I was so happy that it was! We will definitely be staying again as our family loved the convenience of the restaurants & shops nearby as well as how close we were to the beach.…

Had everything we needed, fresh coat of paint and sheets, hot water. We were there for a race and they gave us a runner goodie bag and a late checkout. Josa was awesome and helped us out tremendously

Checked in late, front desk seemed annoyed at first. The parking lot is extremely small and the spaces are pretty tight. Luckily we were able to find a spot in the parking lot because it wasn’t clear where alternative parking was. The room was smaller than expected but got the job done. Overall the room was pretty clean. Only downside is you can hear everything as other guests pass by the door or if they’re yelling up to another room.

Had to make a emergency trip to the beach. Hotel receptionist stay there until I could get there and check in. Room was very nice and clean. The last morning I was there my card to the room was deactivated however the receptionist fix it so I could get back in the room.

Enjoy the service and room. The location was close to everything. Close to the beach. Not much traffic. I can just imagine how busy it might be come summer time. Still you can view the ocean from the room that I was in

Hotel room was clean and remodeled. Construction is still going on which did not bother us at all. Desk clerks were very friendly. Hotel is older and that shows on the outside but it was perfect for the price paid and cleanliness of the room. If you are looking for a five star hotel with great breakfast and large pool, this is not it. We were in town for a field hockey game and this room met our needs. Very close to the beach and several restaurants.

Great location and affordable...clean...nice shower...Arrived after midnight and desk clerk very polite and efficient with check in...Day desk manager very polite, courteous and made us feel welcome like the night shift person. Great staff who deserve not only kudos for service, but a raise and recognition for superior representation of your chain of hotels. Will be my first call when needing a place stay in Virginia Beach.

Josa is pretty awesome, but some of the staff seem a little out of touch or oblivious to what type of people they put in rooms near other types of people. During this season the hotel isn't near full capacity so there is room to spread people out a little. They instead put the type of people who have loud sex next door to people who are single professionals, or much older in age. More respect should be shown to guests who are there for a longer stay. If there is a guest in a nearby room smoking weed, it unfortunately travels through the vents. Not fun. The lights in the room are not warm, they are like LED lights so the ambiance is not very cozy. The price is not bad and the location is good. Not sure I would stay here again.

We do not allow smoking in the rooms or within 30 feet of the building. We do our best to make our guests stay as comfortable as possible. We do have rooms being deep cleaned, painted and renovated this time of year, so unfortunately it is not always possible to space everyone out. We’d found bugs, mostly cockroaches, in our room multiple days of our stay, to which the staff responded by saying they weren’t roaches but another type of bug when we reported the issue. The first time we reported it, the sent someone up to spray the room. When we told them we continued to see the same bugs throughout our stay, all but the one night they had treated it, they continued to make excuses for the type of bug it was. Regardless of the type, it is inexcusable to treat a guest’s stay in that manner.
