The staff was super friendly. It’s not family friendly though because most of the hotel smells like weed! The carpet had some stains but it didn’t seem dirty. I won’t stay again with my family. However, if just a couple, you’re prob good to go.

Had I not already paid in advance (nonrefundable), I would have walked out as soon as I walked in. The hotel clerk was not wearing a mask, and when I asked about it, the manager walked by and said none of them do. The clerk said they weren't effective. Further, she said I'd be hard pressed to find any restaurants in Virginia Beach where the servers wore masks. (She was wrong; not all were compliant with state requirements, but some were.) When I got to my room, the door was wide open and it was not ready for us. Fortunately, the maid was nearby. She was pleasant and hard working, and she soon had our room ready. The room was pleasant enough, but the air conditioning was LOUD, like a jet taking off loud! (Well, not quite.) After the first night, I complained, and they sent someone to work on it (successfully). Kudos on their responsiveness. On the plus side, the location is great, the room was plenty big for two people, the mattress was comfortable, and the toiletries were quite nice.

Been here less than an hour and the place is already a dive. No towels, filthy unvacuumed carpet. long shot, but actually gonna see what’s available at hampton inn next door. very noisy, and parking lot is far away and does not feel safe. nobody watches the unsecured lot overnight.

This is by no means a family-friendly hotel, I would not recommend this hotel for anyone. The first two nights we were there the entire hotel smelled like marijuana. The order was in the hallways when walking to our room as well as when we were on the balcony. Our room was hot, we asked for a fan and for maintenance to come to check the AC. It took maintenance 2 days to call me back and 1 day to get the fan. We were there for 5 nights and not once did anyone come clean our room, we had to ask for a clean set of towels, which was left in a bag outside our door. The toilet was not attached properly, and we found dead bugs on the ceiling of the room. There were also stains on the carpet (which I am not even sure what it was), and stains on the sofa. Needless to say, I will never recommend this place to anyone ever. The hotel should pay people to stay there, not vice versa.

This was the worst hotel I have stayed at. Check in is at 3 pm we never got into our room until after 5:30 pm. We had no towels, toilet paper and no trash can liners, the safe would not open up. The windows on the balcony was so filthy. Out of 3 ice machines for 8 floors only 1 was in working order. If we needed towels we had to ask at the desk, and 2 times them had to ask again. I had to ask for towels, blanket, trash can liners, toilet paper. No hand soap, persoanl hygeine bottles was left in the bathroom half full. Bathroom in the lobby hand soap machine was empty the 5 days we was there, it was beeping. We was never asked if we needed any housekeeping. The best thing was it was close to the beach. I will make sure I never stay at this hotel ever again. But if you go to Virginia Beach make sure you eat at Mary's restaurant, wonderful service, awesome food, and great homemade from scratch food. And also try the sub shop Zeros next to Marys, another wonderful restaurant.
