Tournament was great. Accommodations were horrible. Mold all over room. Obvious signs room had not been properly cleaned. Many items in disrepair. I used to equate Wyndham with quality. Not anymore. Truly hope the tournament is held at another venue next year.

Don't take my word for it, read the dozens of reviews to follow. (And shame on me for not having done my homework when selecting the hotel). This hotel truly should be closed down. They have been without WiFi for over 3 weeks. No TV first couple of days. No running water one afternoon. No housekeeping even for an extended stay (we were there 11 days and no one stepped foot in the room). Leave your sheets in a basket in the hallway and they will replace them. Except they replaced them with towels instead. Need to go to front desk for toilet paper. Carpeting in rooms and hallways dirty. Wallpaper peeling. Only one of the two beds had a blanket. No working ice machines. Needed to vacate hotel due to a fire alarm, and hotel management never gave the all-clear signal to return. Mold in bedroom. Hallways dark due to missing lightbulbs (and 11 days of requests never produced a bulb). Took 7 days to get a loose toilet seat tightened. Other guests told us of cockroaches in their rooms. Front desk staff tended to be surly or just couldn't care less. But the worst part is that hotel management took ZERO ownership. Nikki Parsons, the front desk manager committed to several maintenance requests but they never happened. She promised updates and callbacks multiple times and never, ever did. She promised to move us to a new room and never did. She admitted she didn't have time to address guest requests because of all the issues the hotel was facing. She threw her peer staff members under the bus, saying she'd asked them to address some of the issues and they did not. And the GM, Glen Palmer, wasn't any better. When I told him we had planned an extended stay but had some challenges with the hotel, not only did he not take the time to hear what they were, but he immediately shut me down, saying they had been short of staff since August and there was nothing he could do. The one redeeming element of our stay was the Surf Club Ocean Grille on the property. The food was good, and the management and staff were very attentive and friendly. It is unfortunate that their business clearly suffers from being tied to the hotel. And it is unfortunate that this property reflects very badly on the Wyndham name, which I've always associated with quality. But don't just take my word for it...read more of the reviews to follow...I can personally vouch for nearly all of the experiences cited in the reviews over the past two months.

After checking into our 6th floor Ocean View room, everything was good. But around bedtime I noticed my socks were soaking wet: the Carpet was soaked! Items like the dog bed we had on the floor were also wet. We called the front desk and made the annoying move to the 8th floor. After laying down for a while on the bed, I noticed that my travel pillow was damp: all the bedding was damp! The front desk assured us that the 15th floor would be good, but we checked on it ourselves: sure enough, the bedding was damp! We were then moved to a separate building, a big hassle with all our luggage! By now it was 3 hours after our normal bedtime. Needless to say, a very stressful time: felt more like a refugee then a guest (LOL). How was it that I knew more about the hotel room conditions than the staff? The one positive note was that Alex at the front desk tried to help as much as possible.

I asked how I could make sure that Carlton from maintenance could get recognized for his great customer service. I booked our room over two years ago and it was rescheduled several times due to covid. We come for a dart tournament. I thought our room would have a microwave. Between the young man that checked us in, who was also great! He switched us to a lower level floor. And Carlton they found an extra microwave for us to use. Then Carlton was able to change out a light for me. He let me know he was working until 11pm if I needed anything else. I went to the front desk for toilet paper, coffee and large towels the second day as I did not have a note on my bed. But I understand what’s going on as long as they understand I need stuff too. Im writing this during my stay so we will see how it goes. I did ask for one of those sheets that was suppose to be left on my bed.

Was in town for a conference for 9 days. Room was old and run down. Entire hotel was dirty and run down. Bar and restaurant were nice and ocean was great. No WiFi the entire time or house keeping. Was told after no service for 3 days that they do not do daily house keeping unless you put your basket out in the hall with what you need changes. Never had a basket even after asking for one many time. The shower water leaked all over the bathroom floor and stayed wet the entire time. Only stayed for the ocean view from balcony.
