This is a lovely place to stay, tucked away in the woods of Virginia, a short drive from the Blue Ridge Skyline Drive.. We were made very welcome on arrival and given our snack box, which we had ordered a few days before as there are no restauarants nearby. Our room was in a building just a short walk from...

We returned after ~5 years to see that it was as good as we remembered. The driveway was as exciting as we remembered. If it was a ski trail, it would be an expert slope. We both remembered the 'secret recipe' baked oatmeal that accompanies breakfast and were glad it was still part of the meal. Everything was as good...

My husband & I had a nice stay at the SugarTree Inn to celebrate my birthday. We enjoyed dinner (watching the deer out the window) & our breakfast was excellent as well. Our room was comfortable (one of the King suites) & the owners were very hospitable & welcoming. The inn is nicely secluded & private & yet still close...

After my wife strongly suggested going to Mexico for our anniversary I asked her to look into something quiet and close to home like a Bed and Breakfast. Instead of dealing with all of the headaches and hassles of international travel and customs and the TSA, we enjoyed a pleasant drive through the Virginia countryside with lots of private quiet...

The Sugar Tree Inn is a wonderful spot, tucked back in the woods, to relax and rejuvenate yourself. We stayed in one of the cabins with a balcony overlooking the deep woods, seeing many deer walk by. The accommodations were excellent. Very well kept and clean. Firewood was brought to the cabin for the fireplace, which was a great addition...

My new wife and I stayed for our honeymoon here. We were greeted by Becky when we arrived on Saturday in the rain on the 25th. Even though we were a couple of hours early this was not a problem for them at all. We were showed our room with everything in order. I know most of the reviews have...

We were looking for something special to celebrate Marge's birthday and we definitely found it. Everything, from the senic beauty and the beautiful and comfortable rooms to the delicious food were exactly what we were looking for. Jeff and Becky were excellent hosts who greeted us warmly and looked after us for four days. They were especially attuned to our...

The first time my husband and I stayed at the Inn was our wedding 9 years ago, we returned for a leadership retreat a few weeks ago and found it just as amazing, peaceful and relaxing as we did 9 years ago. Going there for a few days was so magical for me, as you drive into the inn it's...

okay So I thought when i saw the log cabins they were gonna be dusty and my allergies would act up, Boy was I wrong! This was such a immaculate and restful place. The rooms were more than cozy! The humming birds ( about a hundred) were so cool to watch and hear. The owner would have talks with us...
