Judith, Bill and Rosie will treat you like family, only they actually do care about you and your comfort. Each of their small touches, make a big impression...from the quality of their toiletries to the yummy waffles with caramelized bananas; the coziness of their sitting rooms to the inspiration of their extensive library, every detail matters. Leave all your worries behind and enjoy your stay. We sure did!!

We had a brief, one night stay at Atherston Hall, but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Judith and Bill were warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was impeccably clean, the bed was very comfortable, and our breakfast was wonderful- made to order, plentiful, and fresh. The gardens are so pretty, and Bill is a true expert and was nice enough to answer my questions about the various plantings. Rosie the lab was as sweet as can be and added to the enjoyment of our stay. Urbanna and Atherston hall were quiet and relaxing- just what we were looking for to get away from out more hectic day to day lives. It was great to walk and bike around the area, and we had a wonderful dinner right down the road at Something Different. Thank you for your hospitality!

Atherston Hall is a very quaint bed and breakfast with an English touch. Judith, Bill, and Rosie take great pride in their home and are very welcoming to their guests. We stayed in the Cornwall Room. Our room and private bath were very clean, nicely decorated, and had a comfortable mattress. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed Judith's secret granola recipe. Atherston Hall is in short walking distance to restaurants, the museum and local shops. Urbanna is a nicely kept town and is great for a relaxing getaway.

We walked to dinner and shops. Judith and Bill are fabulous hosts and so interesting and delightful to talk with. We will stay again.

My husband and I stayed in the Somerset suite at Atherston Hall during Labor Day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious! Judith was a perfect hostess! We would definitely recommend staying here. Urbana is a cute town right on the water.
