My first overnight away from my home since the pandemic. We stayed a couple of nights in a suite and the room ( and hotel in general) was very clean, rooms sealed to indicate sanitized, alcohol hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes were available in the common areas/elevators for guests. The front desk staff was bright, cheerful, professional, and amazingly helpful. It's refreshing to see frontline/essential workers who are still smiling - we all know it's been tough. Thank you for being so pleasant! We did take out from the bar - pizza was "so so", cocktails were yum. Again, the bar staff, was incredibly helpful and informative, going out of his way to review the menu with us and explain the process for ordering. My only criticism, in an overall GREAT stay, is the lack of a front door person to assist with cart/bags. It was tough to maneuver the cart - bags - and we had to leave the car out front while off-loading bags. This was a mere inconvenience - especially after a long drive and arriving late at night. We were exhausted and just wanted to retire to our room for the eve. This missing amenity would not deter me from staying again - but it held me back from giving 5 stars. Kudos to every staff that we encountered - they went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one!

Brigitte, thank you for your detailed review. We are honored to be your host for your first hotel stay in over a year. Your comment on the cleanliness is much appreciated. The housekeeping team is working so hard on the public space and the rooms to ensure we exceed expectations as part of the CleanStay by Hilton program. The partnership with Lysol has been a big hit with our guests as it is a recognizable name that lessens the worry some. It has been a difficult past year, but the team has amazingly come to work each day with smiles and positive energy. The front desk team has received so many kudos for their welcoming demeanor and one thing I think this past year has taught us all.. to appreciate every guest! I am so glad you felt that through out your stay. The bar reopening has been well received by our guests and while I am sorry the pizza did not wow you, I am glad the drinks did. Your comment on the bar team is very much appreciated and we will recognize their efforts. We are working hard to bring back the team. My apology for the inconvenience as we have not yet been able to welcome back the bell staff (hopefully soon!). Should you return prior to that or for other readers, please do ask for assistance. Anyone on our team would be happy to help or get help with bags for a guest. Again, I am sorry for that frustration you experienced. Thank toy again Brigette for your stay and for the review. We hope to welcome you back soon. As always, I invite anyone reading my responses to contact me anytime. Happy travels - Kevin B. Feldman 703-761-5152 kevin.feldman@hilton.com

Hotel's Favorite
We have thoroughly enjoyed our trip up to see my daughter during these times. We are practicing safe COVID protocol. Hilton is my favorite brand under this umbrella. The staff here has treated us like royalty. I think they also treated us like part of their family. We will be back.

Hopefully it wiuld get better when the covid is over. Although i was a diamond member, I was not recognized for being the royal patron. I was given a room that was not in a good condition. Many issues with room. I only picked this property due to the close proximity to my business meeting. Hopefully this place gets better soon

1. The floors (especially near the wall base by the bed) hadn't been swept or vacuumed in a long time. There is build up of dust and debris on tabletops esp. near the window. The nightstands haven't been wiped down so there is a collection of dust on the surface including the alarm clock. 2. The toilet in the restroom has loose hinges. When you go to sit down, the toilet shakes. 3 The WiFi connection is subpar. It may be the bandwidth but just bringing it your attention (again). 4. Most of the desktops/tabletops are superficially scratched and you cannot tell at first inspection. The tv stand and business desk are the worst. Overall, fantastic customer service (staff performance is above reproach), excellent bar service and aesthetically pleasing facility. The rooms are beautiful at first glance but then you realize that they are not in not so good condition. We just didn't want to have to change rooms (again).

Thank you Keona for your review. I am so sorry to read that we let you down and appreciate that you let us know while on property so we could try to make it right by offering to change/upgrade your room. Since you took the time to write such a detailed review, I wanted to offer the same in a response. 1. The Director of Housekeeping has spoken to the housekeeper that cleaned your room to remind her how important attention to detail is, especially in the hard to detect places like the wall bases. As for the dust, it is a tricky thing and here is why. The housekeepers clean and seal the room, but due to lower occupancy during the pandemic, that clean & sealed room may sit vacant for 7+ days until a guest breaks the seal to enter it. So while the room was dusted/cleaned in almost all cases, over the vacant days more dust settled. Many hotels are going through the same thing right now. Just wanted to explain, but it does not excuse the fact that you had dust in your room. We must do better and I am sorry you experienced that. 2. Thankfully this was a one off challenge, but again so sorry you had this happen. This should have been caught and repaired prior to your arrival. 3. This is the first Wi-Fi challenge I have heard in many months. Our network is tested repeatedly and especially now when we have many people using it for zoom type meetings and streaming, it needs to be reliable. I have gone up to both rooms you were in to test and was able to connect seamlessly. It may have been a temporary glitch for your stay in that one area as we did not receive any other comments on it. I apologize that the Wi-Fi did not work properly for you. 4. The Property Operations team works hard to maintain the furniture. Your comment will be shared with our ownership so when future projects are discussed, they consider a room furniture replacement. It great to read that your interaction with the staff exceeded expectations and you comment about the bar service will be shared with the team (as will your whole review). Thank you again Keona for your review and I truly am sorry we did not offer you a better experience. I hope you give us another chance to earn back your trust. As always, I invite anyone reading my responses to contact me anytime. Happy travels - Kevin B. Feldman 703-761-5152 kevin.feldman@hilton.com
