We were a small group of 20 fifth grade boys and chaperones visiting DC and the Archer provided us with everything that we needed. From the ease of requesting a block of rooms and allowing each family to make their own reservations; to check-in/check-out; friendly staff; not to mention the stay itself (in one of the most beautiful, clean and comfortable hotels) the experience was flawless. Furthermore, the king size beds were a huge advantage for our group. Additionally, the location next to the Silver Line allowed our group to travel easily via the metro to every key DC site. AND the Wegmans grocery chain was easily within walking distance to provide a location for inexpensive group meals with a variety of choices. The hotel was a win on many different levels for our group.

The Archer was the first hotel I've stayed at in 45 years of business travel that felt like I had accidentally been charged too low a fee for the experience. The ambiance was a mix of Ritz Carlton with the more modern European hotels. From the lobby and desk clerks area to the bar and restaurant areas and carried through to the rooms, the entire experience felt fresh, clean, and coordinated. We are now looking at other Archer hotels around the country to ensure our personal travel will take this chain into account.

The Archer Hotel was sparkling clean, completely mold and mildew free, and was a great option for my family who is sensitive to chemicals and fragrance. We requested a hypoallergenic room and a feather-free bed, and James was so very accommodating during the reservation - making process. The hotel is also pet friendly, and we also did not see a speck of pet hair anywhere! It was very updated and clean, great location near Capital One / Metro station. Complimentary valet parking 24/7.

Best hotel to stay at for a business trip, and I’d stay here for a personal trip as well. The attention to detail is fantastic - coat hooks in the room, a towel bar by the bathroom sink, delicious breakfast at a fair price, outlets where you need them. This thoughtfulness permeates throughout the entire hotel and experience. The staff is great, the rooms are great, the food and drinks are great. I’m coming back!

Check in was rocky and there was a lot of confusion. The only thing the young lady working the front desk wanted me to know was that I didn’t receive the $25 credit for booking with them. She told my aunt to make sure she told me that. First we were given 2 rooms that neither my mom or aunt could get it, as they are both wheelchair bound. We go back to the front desk and after 10-15 minutes of back and forth with the young lady she switched rooms and we received 1 room that had a shower that was accessible. While my aunt was in the shower the bench separated from the wall! Front desk was notified and we were told someone would be there at 330. We asked if there was another room we could have since our engagement started at 4pm We were told that the hotel was at capacity. This meant that my aunt and mother would have to “wash up” in a sink. When we checked out the bench was still broken and no one checked to see how anyone was.

Archer is now my go to hotel for travel to the Tysons area. The rooms are modern and nice. The curtains close all the way to keep the room dark, the TV has working HDMI inputs. The restaurant is reasonably priced and good. Check in was easy and fast.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay! From start to finish, the team made it an exceptional experience. Nazir, my valet, was always helpful and friendly, making sure I felt taken care of the moment I arrived. Yugi and Patrick, the bartenders, were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made every dining experience memorable. The front desk ladies were such a pleasure to interact with—professional, warm, and incredibly helpful. And a special shout-out to Filomena, who cleaned my room with such care and left the sweetest greeting messages that made me smile every day. This team went above and beyond—truly a standout stay!

A charming artsy boutique hotel
with excellent location and easy access to the surrounding cities and towns.

There is a shuttle straight from the airport.

The main lobby has a posting with local transportation including ride shares.

The room amenities are high quality and lovely.

The inclusion of kids and animals is done in a classy, luxury hotel style.

I don't want to reveal too much and spoil anyone's discovery of the magical charm but, basically this specific Archer location was like a miniature version of a stay at major luxury hotel like the Ritz or I am guessing one of the comparable larger Archer hotels.

I've already recommended their Napa location to people.

There is a grocery store right across the street but the cafe is great and there's a charming outdoor patio with a fireplace.

You can play records and checkers while you relax by the fire in the lobby or you can go to the livelier bar.

There are also events here but my stay was during a quiet time which was ideal for myself but I'm sure it gets livelier .
There were families, couples and parties while I was there but the atmosphere wasn't raucous or unsettling .
I felt very comfortable and pampered.

I only have 2 minor suggestions for improvement that did not dampen my stay much at all:

My only wish for cleanliness is that the towels and toiletries would be changed out more.

I'm guessing I would have needed to request this specifically.

And my other wish for betterment is provision of more up front information about the ammenities and how to access them.
The train that goes straight to the hotel was not mentioned to me and the room phone was very confusing.

Overall, a lovely experience in a uniquely charming hotel great for quiet, relaxing stays, comfy family get togethers and classy parties.

We stayed at the Archer Tysons Corner hotel to attend a concert in nearby Alexandria. In June we stayed at the Archer in Burlington Massachusetts and were excited to give this location a try. This hotel has every modern amenity you could need and everything is spotlessly clean! The rooms are beautiful and have large floor to ceiling windows which I love. The beds are extremely comfortable and all rooms come with robes and slippers. Though we did not eat in the restaurant we did order room service for breakfast which was a little pricey but very good none the less. The valet parking is $25 a day which is was a pricey to me however considering the area it is the norm. The hotel is not walking distance to many things however the Metro is literally next door which makes traveling convenient. Also the mall abd restaurants are all within a 10 minute drive. Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay and would return to this location the next time we are in the area.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. Customer service top notch. From housekeeping to the front desk to valet everyone was pleasant and whatever request we had was completed within 5 to 10 minutes! Easy checkin and checkout. Outstanding room, quite clean. We reserved the Archer Den with balcony which had a nice view of the city, comfy bed, huge tub and plenty of space. This particular room comes with kitchen sink, dishes, fridge and microwave (i love how it opens up like a drawer, yes a drawer) . Also don't miss getting food downstairs at AK Bar...fresh and flavorful! We especially loved the calamari (light breaded and not chewy) and the spinach artichoke dip. Definitely would stay again and will check out other Archer hotel locations.
