Thank you for such an amazing stay! The hotel is gorgeous and clean and professional but it’s the little details that made it special - the slippers in the room, the books on the desk, the luxurious shampoo, the little card and treat for my husband’s birthday. We live in DC but wanted to stay closer to Wolf Trap after a concert and it was pretty perfect. We felt so taken care of and had a great time. Not only will we be back, I think we’ll be back next month for another little staycation!
I was looking for a hotel to stay in with my boyfriend and typically we cling to 1 specific hotel that has been our favorite place to stay for the past 3 years. However, last night, it would have been $400 for the night and I didn’t want to pay that much, especially because this was a mini staycation. Instead, I hoped online to search for nice hotels similar to the type of style with the other hotel. To my surprise, I found Archer Hotel -Tysons in Virginia and it was less than $200 a night for the particular weekend we were visiting. At first I was worried I wouldn’t like it as much as my other hotel but that WAS NOT the case. I loved walking into the beautifully decorated space of both the lobby and our room. We even found free street parking for the night! There was a robe in the closet and slippers in the bathroom for us too! I immediately just felt welcomed and thought about. The slippers were my favorite touch but it still couldn’t take away from the beauty of the wall decor and bathroom fixtures. I will have to book another trip to explore this location more but I am planning to visit other Archer Hotels as well! Thanks so much to the staff who was friendly and funny during check in and check out!…
This hotel, bar and restaurant was a wonderful surprise! The hotel is beautiful, clean and welcoming. The staff are smart and seem to genuinely enjoy their work. The food and craft cocktails in the hotel bar/restaurant were top shelf!! We will look for Archer hotels whenever we travel. It was absolutely GREAT!!
I really enjoyed my stay at the Archer! The king room was clean, modern and well taken care of, the hotel is also new so that helps too. I loved the complimentary drinks, espresso maker, slippers but most of all, the rain shower head. After a long day of travel, social meets and commute, I felt completely at home. The only thing I didn’t like was the $76 for valet parking but maybe in Tysons that’s a steal, not sure but yikes! Can’t wait to come back but will probably take the metro instead since it literally right there.
This was my second stay in this beautiful hotel in a convenient location. The only major complaint I have is the parking situation. What used to be $10/night self-parking has become $25/night valet-only parking. The parking was tight, so it's understandable they had to switch to valet but the price is too high, and the valet service is poor. One time there was no one at the valet stand, and another time they lost the car keys. Both situations were resolved fairly quickly, but it's an extra layer of irritation when you used to be able to just go get your car on your own. This is a great hotel IF you are planning to just Metro/Uber/Lyft/walk. If you have a car, you might consider a different hotel.
Rooms are very clean and staff are all friendly and accommodating. The only issue is with the valet. One day I had to wait over 45 min for my car because of a miscommunication between the front desk and valet giving wrong number. I even went up to the valet and told him I was waiting and gave him my number but still didn’t get my car for another 15 minutes even though no one else was waiting behind me. The next day at checkout it took over 30 minutes of waiting until I gave up and said just give me my keys and I’ll get my car myself. Two others who were waiting even longer did the same thing right after me and we all just walked to the garage and got it out in two minutes. Besides that the rooms are great and is one of the better hotels in the area. I would stay again but and hesitant based on how long it takes to get my car back.…
Excellent property and customer service was on point. The bar and barkeep were an excellent spot to enjoy a beverage and dinner. Rooms were generous in size. I did notice all the art in the building were from local artists and upbeat and colorful, which was a nice local touch.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were super friendly during the entire stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Access to the metro was super easy. I will definitely be returning.
Clean, modern, and exceptional service! Amazing amenities and in-room accommodations. The check-in process was smooth, and they accommodated our room request for a specific floor. The room was very modern, comfortable in size, and incredibly clean. Double shower heads, vanity sink, and super fluffy towels! The room had a standard flat-screen TV with cable (I prefer SMART TVs), floor-to-ceiling windows, and double-lined curtains. The King Bed had soft white linens and was one of the more comfortable beds I've slept on! The modern look, cleanliness, and exceptional staff service sets this place above the rest. As of May '22, there is major construction surrounding the hotel. This will make things messy, views obscure, congested roads, and a less pleasant stay. However, the hotel itself is lovely. There is free street parking surrounding, for now. Vallet park for $50 a night.…
I was in the need of some peace and relaxation! A time to get away from a life of Dr's visits and treatments, a chance to catch up on some work without distractions, and time to simply have no real responsibilities! The staff was amazing...regardless of the time of the day that I interacted with them. Any employee I passed by that greeted me as if they knew me! The servers in the restaurant also treated me like family! Every meal that I had in the restaurant, the staff greeted me by name and Room service was ordered and to my room in less than 20 mins.! Finally, the Fitness Center, OMGosh! There was every piece of equipment that I might need, fruit and snacks at no cost for a post-workout treat, refrigerated cool face wipes to freshen up after the workout and mats to stretch out on! My goal for the week was to eat healthy, workout, and rejuvenated my mind and body! All boxes were checked! I would highly recommend Archer's Hotel at Tyson's!…
