The hotel itself is nice, up to date and close to the airport. Breakfast is back to normal post-COVID. They offer park and fly which is reasonably priced ($5-6 per night) and their outgoing shuttle leaves every half hour. The problem we had -- and which will keep us from ever coming back -- was getting picked up at the airport after we flew home. We got to the pick up spot we were told to be at, called for our pickup, and were told someone would get us in 15-20 minutes. That was fine even though it was about 20 degrees. So we waited. After 25 minutes, I called again. This time we were told the driver would be there in 3 minutes. Meanwhile, everyone who had been waiting with us had been picked up, and others who arrived after us came and went. With much dismay, we saw the Marriott and the Hyatt vans come by twice to pick up arriving guests. So after 10 more minutes, I called again. This time they put me on hold "to check with the driver." Then, they told me he would be there "soon." He finally showed up about 5 minutes later. Bear in mind, the hotel is only about 5 minutes from the airport. In short, we did not appreciate either (1) being lied to by the hotel or (2) having our pickup request ignored by the driver. But either way, after a long day of traveling, the last thing anyone wants to do is wait 40 minutes in frigid temperatures to be picked up by a hotel shuttle that is parked only about 5 minutes away. So like the title says, if you value your time as a traveler, "park and fly" somewhere else. We sure will. Although it need not, the hotel is welcome to contact me to discuss this further. But it cannot credibly respond to this review by claiming to be unaware of our predicament. We spoke with two different employees on three different occasions while we were trying to get picked up. When we were finally delivered to the hotel, it was clear that we were the guests who had waited an inordinate amount of time to be picked up -- because we were the only ones who got dropped off. Nevertheless, the front desk staff did not even acknowledge us when we arrived. Instead, they ignored us as we lugged our 6 bags past the front desk to our vehicle which was parked out back. It would be an understatement to say that we were disappointed by their lack of hospitality.

Yet another great experience at this property. We stay frequently before flying out of Dulles and this time didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and great shuttle service. Breakfast was back to normal with full options.

Our family was affected by the Stafford County VA massive power outage and scrambled to find a hotel to accommodate us at the last minute. We were distraught and had no where to turn and was all rooms in our local area was completely booked. My husband works in the area and despite the weather conditions is an essential employee so I was able to find this hotel on booking.com and reached out. Soni was amazingly compassionate and understanding. What wonderful hospitality!!

Staff were accommodating and helpful. The management was concerned to give the housekeeping staff part of the New Year’s Day off. We liked they they looked out for their hardworking staff. The continental breakfast was wonderful.

1. We had requested a crib for our son (2 years old), and had called twice to confirm that one would be there when we got there, but what we found in the room was more like a Graco Pack 'n Play Portable Playard, which was too small for him. 2. On our second night, we started hearing an ongoing squeaky noise coming from the roof (it woke us up early on Saturday morning). We reported it to the front desk and were told it would be fixed. We went on with our day on Saturday, but when we came back to our room, we realized it was still there and it bothered us through the night. Switching rooms would've already been too late because we were tired and it's not that easy to move around with a young child. 3. Some staff weren’t wearing their face covering during later times of the day, and at night.
