This trip to Virginia was fraught with peril, but when we arrived at the Doubletree, everything smoothed out. The staff is helpful and courteous and went out of their way to be so. We ate there several times and were very pleased with the food and staff. The hostess, Ivette was very accommodating and pleasant and we met the chef, Maria also. The food was the best we had eaten in Virginia and we were pleasantly surprised. We had roasted brussel sprouts that were amazing and as good as any we have been served in California restaurants. This place proved to be an oasis for us.

We enjoyed everything you hope for in your hotel stay at a very reasonable rate. The room was very clean and comfortable. We are obsessed with the pillows and want to buy them for home! It was really easy to check in and out with the app.

I made a reservation for this hotel through the Hotel Tonight App. That I have been using for years and have had 0 issues until today. I get to the hotel and my reservation was nonexistent. They told me to wait for my room to be ready, I booked over 2 weeks ago. I called Hotel Tonight for a refund and they called the hotel for confirmation the lady at the front desk said “we are sorry but someone forgot to check our emails today and book this reservation in our system and now we are sold out” after being at the lobby for 1 hour… I know mistakes happen, but communicate so the guest is not waiting for an imaginary room that was not going to happen. I booked in another hotel.

We stay at this hotel frequently when visiting relatives, the service is consistently good, the rooms are comfortable, breakfast is a great start to the morning. Location is great, easy highway access, and lots of great shopping nearby

Everything was very dirty, stains on all the towels, hairs in the bed, probably blood on the door. The shower head sprayed water over the door and wet everything on the sink area.thisbplace is not maintained and you can tell just walking down the hallway and seeing holes on the ceiling. I would look elsewhere.

Not up to Hilton Standards. The Hilton employees are polite, but the overall stay was not what I expected for a Hilton hotel. One of two elevators did not work the entire stay. The room was never properly stocked with toiletries or coffee or even cleaned all the way. The only person manning the breakfast hours was only interested in providing your bill. She did not offer coffee or silverware (everything is do it yourself yet there is room for a tip on the bill. More often than not, the front desk staff was busy with cell phones. What is more disturbing is I have been an avid Hilton supporter and now a Lifetime Diamond member, yet I was not permitted access to the Executive Lounge. Also, the elevator and lobby floors were dirty. This is two poor visits in a row.

The water was off when I went to the room. I went to the desk to change rooms, and the manager profusely apologized and offered to get me a reservation at another hotel. I told him I only wanted a new room. He then told me that the water supply to the hotel was off due to work being performed and that he had just learned of it but that the water would be back on in a couple of hours. Apologies were not required. Why don't you know that the water was off and let me know when I check in? The bathroom supplies are second rate, and they only provided one cup of coffee in the room. The bottom line is that I have been using this hotel for many years, and I can see when hotel services decline. I know, "Covid-19, supply chain, etc."

Food sucked and cold. Had to have others pass me on the elevator to my floor. Bed extremely hard. 😪 fifteen dollars for a cold meal that I did not eat. What? Boo. Not good at all. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Never coming back. Go. Elsewhere sad to say.

Room not properly stocked; only one coffee for two of us, no shampoo (but there was conditioner). The AC did not work properly. Breakfast not very good and the only staff member in attendance could not explain anything. The general manager arrived (not dressed as expected from Hilton staff) and told us she had been brought in to improve things. Uphill job.

I am not one to leave a review but needed to put this out there. Left stranded at the airport…and left in the cold. I contacted Hilton Honors twice and the hotel directly to confirm this Hilton Doubletree Sterling Dulles airport location offered the normal airport shuttle. Was disappointed that the shuttle stops at 10pm and they would be not offer this rather pertinent information minutes before shutting it down. All of the other hotels still had shuttles running. Arrived late to the hotel and the lobby was vacant. Woke up early to go to work but for some reason they don’t offer to put the coffee out until 6am. The room coffee maker made cold coffee. This is much lower than the normal Hilton standard. Time for a management of change!
