It is hard to believe that such tranquility exists less than 90 minutes from DC. There is indeed something magical about the 44 acres the inn is located on. Perhaps it is contained in the spring, perhaps it is the quiet, or perhaps it it is in the non intrusive warmth of the innkeepers who are clearly committed to making... More

We just got back from our two night stay celebrating our 10th anniversary and this place was amazing! With two young kids, we wanted to be able to relax and have quiet, and romance, for a reasonable price. We found much more- wonderfully friendly innkeepers and staff, exquisite food for breakfast and dinner, and so much fascinating history that you... More

We chose to stay at The Inn at Vaucluse Spring while we hiked in the Shenandoah National Park about 15 minutes from the inn. The inn (and the park) was absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in the Cottage on the Hill, a spacious room with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub for soaking. When we first walked in we were a little... More

We were looking for somewhere to enjoy a wonderful meal for our anniversary. Some friends suggested the Inn and it is only a few minutes from our home. We decided to have a relaxing break right down the road. It didn't feel like we were so close to home. Dinner and breakfast the next morning were phenomenal! The owners and... More

Lovely inn and beautiful property run by outstanding, attentive and kind owners. Breakfasts were delicious and we reserved a dinner at the Inn. I knew we were at the right place when inquiring about a dress code for dinner and was told "we just want you to be comfortable." The chef for dinner was informative and talented. I would book... We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stop at The Inn at Vaucluse Spring and wish we had had more time to stay and explore... We arrived late one afternoon and found everything perfect for our restful stop on our long drive. Slept very comfortably and loved the morning breakfast! So enjoyed meeting the Innkeepers Tiffany and Derrick Nilde and congratulate... More

What a relaxing evening. We arrived at 3pm and were welcomed with fresh mint ice tea. We stayed in the Thorton room in the main house. We spent the day on the back porch drinking tea and watching the fox, rabbits and birds singing nearby. Champagne was served just prior to dinner where the Chef Allen advised of the 5... More

Of all the buildings available we chose to stay in the Manor House in the Jones room. We made an excellent choice. Tiffany and Derrick treated us as they would treat special guests in their home. They were friendly, sincere, hospitable and helpful. The accommodations are excellent and extremely well maintained. The chef created healthy, delicious and beautifully presented courses... More

Top notch bed and breakfast run by wonderful owners, Tiffany and Derrick. The dinners and breakfasts were delicious. The on-site pool was an added benefit as we enjoyed that after a long hike in the morning. We stayed in the Thornton room which was in the main house. Overall a wonderful experience and we look forward to returning in the... More

So close to Washington and yet a million miles away. So peaceful and beautiful. I can't imagine a more romantic place. We sat by the pond and read, swam in the pool, hiked, visited local wineries, stopped by some antique shops and just chilled. We stayed in the Mill House Studio by the the pond. From the window of the... More
