My wife and I spent two nights there back in February of last year. It was a cumulation of her birthday and Valentine's day. We had spent a night there back in November of 2018 around the time of our anniversary. We hope to go back and visit again soon. We had a good time and the dinners and breakfasts that we had were delicious. I would highly recommend this b and b for anyone that wants a nice getaway. Just remember that WiFi and internet is spotty.

Kevin is a very friendly and helpful host—and he’s not a bad cook! Whilst the old mill is a rustic place, some elements of it are becoming a bit ‘tired’. My wife and I run a B&B and we know what a chore it is to keep everything fresh and up-to-date. The Osceola Mill is up for sale so I suspect the energy required to keep it clean, tidy and modern has become a bit much. Our room was a bit dear for what it was. The restaurant is very rustic, with some bits of the old mill still in evidence, but the ambiance is not the “fine dining” atmosphere that one reads about on the web site. It is only ‘fully staffed’ at the weekend. We found the dinner over-priced—especially my wife’s vegetarian meal. Breakfast is a different matter and was de-lish! One caveat is that two of the rooms are right by the road, so when loud vehicles come by you will hear them...unless you sleep like the dead(!). For the money there are other B&Bs in and around Staunton that offer more quality for a similar price.

I was here on a business trip. Stayed in the Wheat Bin room and in the Mill Store cabin as I stayed a few nights. What a great host Kevin is and Debbie who works there and Kevin’s sister who served us our meals. Rooms were clean and full of character from the timber frame construction of the early mill. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Already planning to bring my wife back for a stay so she can also experience the great hospitality of all those fine folks at the Osceola Mill BnB, and the atmosphere of this wonderful place.

Was looking for a good b&b and found this one. Have a call and spoke to the owner Keven. He got me all squared away with the booking process. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and checked in. We stayed for 3 days and got nothing but the best service. The rooms was great, the food was delicious, 5 stars all the way! I will be back, that’s for sure!!

Fantastic historic place to stay. Rooms lovely. Staff friendly can't do enough for you. Thank you Debbie and Crystall.. food cooked by Kevin is amazing and not small portions. We would definitely stay again if we come back this way. Highly recommend a stop at the mill.
