We have stayed at some really exceptional b and b's in the past few years so an average rating should not be considered "poor". We stayed for three days. The house is well maintained and has an interesting collection of Native American and civil war artifacts. The breakfasts were varied and tasty with fruit each morning, homemade fruit juice 2/3...

We stayed at Daughter of the Stars for a night and loved the hospitality and environment. Misty was very welcoming; our room was upgraded because we were the only ones staying this night, and enjoyed the larger bathroom. The Native American history incorporated into the theme of the Bread and Breakfast was refreshing and we appreciated the arrowhead to take...

I feel right at home at this b&b. Patrick and Misty were so nice and welcoming. Food was great and the privacy and comfort were just what I needed to rejuvenate. Highly recommended and I'll definitely be back for my 4th visit!

We booked a night at this place when we were visiting Shenandoah park and Lurray caverns. When we got there, we were greeted by the innkeeper Misty who said all the right things to make us comfortable. However, the place is very unkempt. The room footrest was damp and had stains.
