My girlfriend and I just returned from enjoying a wonderful weekend at the William Cox Inn. On past trips, we've stayed at B&B's a bit closer to Lexington, and while they were great in their own away, this was definitely the best of all of them. Tom and Janet are 2 of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They made... More

I just wanted to take the time to give William Cox Inn a rave review. Not only was the inn beautiful, it was VERY comfortable to sleep! The back porch had a beauiful uninterupted view of the mountains. Perfect for our romantic weekend away. Bring your appetites as well. A very hearty and wonderful breakfest ensues a comfortable night's rest.

The breakfast that Mr. & Mrs. Call prepared for us was exceptional. They were also very friendly and personable. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves so much that we are planning our next trip.

What a remarkable stay we had at the William Cox Inn! From the moment we arrived we were treated with care and attention; even the house cat joined us for the tour of the house! In creating an unforgettable experience for their guests, Tom and Janet seemed to have thought of every last detail, not leaving any stone unturned. Your... More

I marveled at the transformation of an old cabin from the 1700's into a refined place of the 21st century! Wonderful hosts! Great grounds and areas for relaxing and resting. I would definitely go again.

Everything from the moment we pulled up to the Inn was amazing, from the view of the mountains to the warm welcome from Tom and Janet. Every room was decorated in a warm inviting way. The most amazing homemade breakfast served in a dining room with a fireplace and a table that was set to perfection down to the last... More

ROOM: My husband and I wanted to celebrate our second anniversary with a romantic weekend escape - and we found just that at the William Cox Inn. We stayed in the River Cabin and could not have been happier with our choice. It was so blissful!! We had the privacy and serenity of the cabin, while the main house was... More

These hosts have thought of everything. The expansive B&B exudes comfort: ample areas for relaxing with books, board games, tea and coffee always available; a hiking path around the property with breathtaking views of the mountains; swings, a hammock, horseshoes. Tom and Janet extend such warmth to their guests, clearly concerned with meeting specific needs and interests. Wine is served... More

The William Cox Inn is a very special place, partciularly if you want to get away from it all!! Janet and Tom Call, the Inn Keepers and owners. go out of their way to make your stay memorable and delightful. A combination of old (one bedroom is in the ca 1770 built house of William Cox) to the new -... More

We stayed with Tom & Jane for our last night on our 2-week road trip of the Eastern USA. What a great experience it was! The house is located at the end of a gravel drive, quite some distance from the actual town of Stanardsville, so it is very quiet and secluded. This also brings us to the "drawback" if... More
