I had an issue with a 3rd party vendor selling on behalf of the Hilton brand that refused to honor the group rate for an event at this hotel. They told me they sold out of the group rate. As it turned out, that was a lie so the vendor could collect sales credit for the transaction. I contacted Hilton Customer Service + the hotel about this. Neither of them were helpful. They did not even offer to correct this vendor scam going forward by instructing them to redirect their customers to the local hotel to honor the group rate when a customer presents it. Worst customer service ever. I’m never using this brand again. I’ve never had this problem with Marriott.
Hotel was Nice, service was great, and great Location. We choose it because close To mall and metro. Great walking distance to many shops and restaurants. 30 min metro to dc and convenient to stay without dc traffic: lots of parking and good prices
This hotel is unbecoming of the Hilton brand. I stayed here a week and the water went out twice. Management/staff did not notify guests on the issue, nor provided any compensation for the inconveniences. I will not recommend this location to family, friends, or colleagues.
The staff from reception to restaurant to cleaning were friendly and efficient. Highlights of the breakfast buffet were the fluffy scrambled eggs and olive oil roasted potatoes with fresh parsley - served by Chef Shah! The free shuttle to the shopping mall and metro train was convenient.
Excellent customer service offered during our stay. I would happily recommend hotel to other Honors members. Can’t ask for more of a service. Thanks to the Team on duty, they were polite, helpful and we are grateful for their service
We stayed at the Comfort Inn next door. They advertised a bar & lounge. They don't have a bar OR a lounge so we wandered over to the Hilton. Great bartender, Rich, nice bar. We'll stay there next visit.
This hotel is feeling its age and needs some modernization. We stay here often and it is always clean and the employees courteous. It is right off multiple interstates and has a shopping center across the highway.
Great room and value. This is about Jordan at the front desk, superstar pro. Jordan was very polite and empathetic when I arrived. Long day, I checked in on line and just asked where the elevators were. They were right in front of me and he informed me without rubbing it in, as I might have done.
Spent 6 nights on business, the whole hotel is looking very tired and in need of an update. Was misinformed of room rate on check in, room a/c not working on arrival and when fixed was very loud. Even though there for 6 nights, first housekeeping was not planned until after 4th day, this was not done and took 2 requests via reception, the first was ignored by a very unhelpful receptionist. Bed was comfortable but bathroom is tiny, carpet covered in stains - would not walk barefoot in the room. Breakfast was the worst I have seen, charged $15 for the buffet which only had a few choices, the same every day. The food was dull and bland and not worth having. The bar is ok, with good choice of beers and friendly staff.
If you get a chance to stay here it’s great.. great rooms excellent front desk staff but the highlight of my Friday night was the wonderful, professional and down right amazing staff in the restaurant. Please go see Ms Amina , Ms. Brittany and Mr. Richard These three are the most amazing service members I’ve come in contact with in a long time. Attentive personal and truly genuine customer service. Ms Brittany’s cake knocked me off my feet. I can’t forget the chef who made me the most mouth watering steak on the first request of being well done. They are truly an assets to this establishment.
