My partner and I stayed at The White Pig Bed and Breakfast for a five day retreat to get away from the quick pace of city life and to enjoy a relaxing and quiet week. Our time at The White Pig was a magical experience to say the least. It is certainly a vegan oasis, but it is truly an... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at The White Pig for a weekend getaway. If you are looking for a peaceful, serene, get-away-from-the-rat-race destination, this is the place. We booked the Anastasia room and enjoyed our private living room and private rooftop deck. The entire B&B was clean and inviting. We had fun meeting the resident animals,... More

I can't praise this bed and breakfast enough! I spent a weekend here with my husband, and we had the most wonderful visit. We stayed in the Cloud Cottage - it was simply charming! Cozy, quiet, clean, peaceful and secluded. A snack basket stocked full of vegan goodies, and complimentary cupcakes, were a wonderful special touch. The kitchen had a... More

My friends (one vegegetarian, one omnivore) and I (vegan) had a fabulous weekend stay at The White Pig B&B and sanctuary this past weekend. They are about half an hour from Charlottesville on top of a mountain with gorgeous views and lots of wildlife (saw two foxes, lots of deer, an opossum). We met the 7 potbellied pigs, thoroughbred horse,... More

As a sanctuary for pigs and humans this beautiful farm and woodland property is just what we needed. We stayed up the hill under forest canopy in the "Cloud Cottage". Nothing fancy or designy, just comfortable and very private. The freestanding cast iron fireplace was stocked with wood and a basket of snacks and cabinet of videos were provided as... More

I'm surprised there aren't more reviews here for this beautiful farm and inn. I spent only one night there and had the inn to myself. It's so comfortable and homey and there's sherry in the the parlor! I went down to the farm and met Dina and the pigs and the horses and the dogs and took walks along the... More

I am vegetarian/vegan and my husband (not a vegetarian) booked this trip for me as a birthday gift. We stayed two nights and had the entire house to ourselves. The house has a lovely living area with a fire place where we relaxed each evening before we ventured out for dinner. Our room was a nice size with a well... More

Both accommodations and meals were exceptional. We opted for Dina's vegan dinner, and we *loved* it - salad, soup, pan-seared tofu, lemon cake. Not having to leave the stellar property was fantastic; we retreated to watch a movie in the common area after our lovely dinner. Hostess is most gracious; we genuinely hope to return...

We stayed at the White Pig for the second tme in late August, 2009, once again it was the perfect respite. The White Pig is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, it is a place to "unplug" and completely unwind. On arrival, we were greeted with a self check in, and fresh, home baked sweets which truly were phenomenal. Our... More

My husband and I have been to The White Pig 3 times now and it's pretty much our favorite place in the world. Dina makes amazing food and always has enough to fill us up. The house is immaculate, the rooms are comfortable, the animals are amazing to see...Every time we go we are in awe of all the beauty... More
