My husband booked a night at this manor as a surprise to celebrate my birthday and... what a wonderful gift that was! Living in the DC area is not easy and time just seems to fly off your hands, so spending two days in this peaceful, beautiful, elegant, traditional area was just so refreshing! The manor is truly awesome and even more so was the owner Anthony: welcoming, friendly, warm and thoughtful. Overall just the perfect host for the perfect place. We felt welcomed, cuddled and so relaxed by the way Anthony treated us! The room was great, spacious, clean and the beds were comfy. There was a welcome gift box with local goods, and We were offered milk and freshly made cookies. Breakfast was rich and so delicious, nothing like the typical b&bs. We stayed back and talked to Anthony about his travels and experiences, and it was a great pleasure sharing some stories. There isn’t much more than fields, farms and open space around the manor (which was the nice thing about the stay for us) but he recommended a great restaurant about 15mins drive, and you cannot go without visiting Middleburg!!! Such a cute little town! The whole area around the Manor still holds the untouched beauty of the past. It is truly enchanting! The best thing about this place -and the area around it- is that it makes you feel like time can, afterall, slow down, and it is great to be reminded of that nowadays! We will definitely try to go back and highly recommend this gem!

I booked a room for one night to attend a wedding nearby. Our room was clean and well equipped with the necessary toiletries, water, and some goodies. The owner couple who were also working there were very pleasant. But, what drove my rating down is the location, and that there was nothing to do there, absolutely nothing. Also, in the Manor there are only 3-4 rooms that accept guests.

Anthony went above and beyond. We had booked 2 nights at the Manor and due to Booking.com's errors, the Manor never got our reservation until 48hrs before. Anthony knew his Manor could not host us for the two days b/c it was fully occupied but he called around, found us a wonderful alternative stay for the first night. He paid the difference out of pocket himself. Then he picked us up and drove us to his manor. He let us check in early. He upgraded us to the BRIDAL SUITE. He was extremely apologetic but I do not think he realized how he took a bad situation and made it AMAZING. I was severely sad to leave his Manor. It was such a heavenly time. I slept so well, ran the countryside, ate amazing food catered to my allergies. His employee Abdul even drove us to our friends wedding when our uber cancelled. We made it just in time. If you do not stay here when visiting this part of Virginia, it's your loss. It's a real gem and I will always be grateful for Anthony's hospitality. - Jordan (Canada)

What a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary!! Not even the smallest details were missed!! We were greeted with warm homemade cookies, and cold farm fresh milk. A welcome box was waiting for us in our room with more goodies and a lovely brochure giving us information about the Manor and also the points of interest in the area. The room was delightful and very comfortable. And the food was exquisite!!! The owners were so warm and friendly. They make you feel like family. Highly recommend you pay a visit!

The Manor is under new Management and has undergone some touch ups and renovations with more to come. This cozy B&B is a small gem the rooms are early 1900 circa but have modern touches. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food and service make you feel like you are at the Family Kitchen table. The location is within 1.5 of downtown DC and has plenty of surrounding historical sites and place to visit in Leesburg and Purcellville. If you are looking for a quiet place away to unplug the Manor is an excellent choice of venue to come to
