We unexpectedly stopped in Roanoke on a roadtrip recently and really lucked out to have found the King George Inn. The house itself is very clean and charming. Hosts were extremely accommodating, and also had recommendations of what would be open for food per our late arrival. The beds were really, really comfortable, which is something I tend to be... We met up with family in Roanoke, VA for the weekend and had the most lovely stay at the King George Inn. Jim and Lynn Hunt were extremely hospitable and they did not monopolize our time, which has happened at other B&Bs. They provided us with all sorts of suggestions on great places to eat and check out as it... More

We stopped in Roanoke to ride the River Greenway. The King George Inn was a wonderful place, great breakfast, very comfortable beds, felt like home. Jim & Lynn are clearly the best Innkeepers. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend! Thanks again from Ken & Vickie.

We are in Roanoke, frequently throughout the year and decided this past weekend to try a bed and breakfast in stead of a chain hotel. Such a pleasant surprise. Though we had researched the King George Inn on BedandBreakfast.com and the innkeepers' website the accommodations were plush, immaculate, and most importantly very comfortable. Jim and Lynn are the consummate hosts... More

Whilst being on a business trip in the US I stayed during the weekend in the King George. It was a great experience and I can recommend it to everyone. Beautiful house, great rooms and a very hospital innkeepers couple! And I should not forget their breakfast. So, if you are in Roanoke go to the King George, you will... More

My friend and I were traveling from Atlanta to PA and wanted to stop overnight along the way. We chose the King George because they had a room with 2 double beds in it. What a nice experience we had. Jim and Lynn are perfect innkeepers. They love people and they are so inviting and gracious. They took very good... More

We just completed our 2nd stay with Jim and Lynn the beginning of June and can not wait to go back again. They are such friendly people! The inn is spacious, well kept and very warm and inviting. The rooms are spacious and have luxurious mattresses and pillows as well. The upstairs has a open sitting area where guests can... More

We stayed there for a night after visiting the Luray caverns on our way to Nashville. This B&B has only 4 rooms, all of them are funished with historical furniture and still extremely comfortable. The innkeepers are wonderful and friendly, had baked cookies for us, and prepared the most tasty breakfast.

We were driving up Route 81 and were thinking about a place to stay for the night. So we logged onto our iPad and searched for a unique B&B in the Shenandoah Valley. To our delight, we found Lynn and Jim Hunt's King George Inn, which is a lovingly restored 1800's mansion. They started with a multi-office building and converted... More
