We recently stayed at Ma Margaret's House B&B on a quick tour of the Northern Neck. We were greeted warmly by one woman as we arrived, a second woman stayed overnight to make sure our needs were met, and a third served us breakfast. All three could not have been more warm and hospitable. We enjoyed our time and chats... More

Beautiful home. Decorated lovingly. Our greeter was so pleasant - Alice and explained the history of the home. Our breakfast was definitely a "Southern" breakfast. Delicious! Will definitely stay again! I cannot remember our morning hostess' name - and I apologize for that - very kind and totally at our service. Very sweet.

We truly enjoyed our stay and will return soon! Ma Margaret's Junior Suite was clean and comfortable; we especially enjoyed its proximity to the porch where we spent much time rocking our cares away. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day's adventures. For us, the location was ideal--close enough to enjoy the sights of the Northern... More

Ma Margaret's is a warm welcoming place to stay. I came for a birthday getaway to eat well, read and relax and this inn provided a delightful spot for it. I had Ma Margaret's Junior suite, which gave me a fridge, microwave and a nice sofa - offering alternative places to sit and read and places to keep or heat... More

Overall, a very satisfying stay. The location was great for the area: centrally located to all points of interest. The house was beautifully restored, and well appointed. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Aside from a couple of odd details (funky door locks: we got locked out once; and some fixtures and areas showing age), our visit was very peaceful... We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.... and used the "Necking" coupon for $25 off dinner at Tommy's. Reedville was quaint and our ferry ride to Tangier Island for a day of sightseeing was only 10 minutes away. Breakfast was amazing! An all around relaxing and refreshing weekend!

Hospitality was great very nice people there made the wife and me very comfortable. The room was very nice and clean plenty of towels and linens. The only downside breakfast was cold had plenty to eat just needed to be served hot. Finally it was within 5 minutes of our family reunion so that was nice. All in all I... More
