We just got back from our first trip at Crumps Camp and it was so relaxing. Such nice decor, comfy bed, peaceful setting with the pond by the tent. We saw so much wildlife, which for us is always a bonus! They has a cooler with drinks when we arrived and the next morning a picnic basket with homemade biscuits... More

With my family coming from these parts, my SO and I thought it would be a good place to visit. We were not disappointed! The room we rented was cozy and clean, the common room was inviting with coffee and fresh-baked pastries each morning, and the grounds were neatly manicured and landscaped! It's within walking distance of the general store,... More

My motorcycle buddy and I stopped in on a Friday night during an unseasonable warm December weekend. We made reservations and shared a room in the lodge, costing for the two of us about $150.00. So, not cheap, but split between the two of us, not bad. Being on motorcycles in this part of Virginia is a real treat. The... More

We drove down from DC for a weekend getaway in the country and loved everything about the Lodge, other than being about four hours away, as I'd love to go more often! We chose to stay in the caboose, which has literally been on my wishlist since I was little girl when I had an obsession with red cabooses, before... More

My wife and I started our vacation this fall at "Crumps Camp" which is a Glamping destination offered by The Depot Lodge. In case you don't know, Glamping is a combination of the terms glamorous and camping and although these terms don't seem to go together, I assure you they do. We had the best time and wished only that... More

Glamping. The Depot Lodge offers rooms, cabins, a caboose, an Airstream and a huge tent with hardwood floors, king size bed, gas fireplace, flat screen tv, wonderful bathroom with a teakwood shower. The Glamping tent is secluded 3 miles down a country road. We had absolute privacy and our own pond. They had a cooler on the porch with beverages... More

So many things at the Depot Lodge were well-thought out and designed for your comfort and enjoyment. Attention to detail was noticeable and appreciated. My only complaint was that the pull-out sofa bed in the suite was very uncomfortable. If this were updated with a new sofa bed, it would be perfect.

We stayed at Grumps Camp Glamping Tent. It was so wonderful!!! We loved it as a getaway. They thought of everything in this glamping experience! Beautiful scenery and comfortable in everyway. My husband and I fell asleep to the sound of rain on our tent. Glamping is the way to go!! Paint Bank is charming and beautiful. The swinging bridge... More

My wife and I reserved the "Crumps Camp" Glamping Tent for a Saturday retreat to the mountains, and I cannot begin to adequately describe how much this place exceeded our expectations and delivered on a true exercise in ultimate relaxation. If you're considering this tent just do it. If you want to hear our experience keep reading... Our cost out... More

Have just returned from our second time glamping at the Depot Lodge. Gorgeous, secluded tent with every amenity and your own private pond. They even bring a picnic breakfast in the morning. Glamping tent is about 3 miles from the Lodge itself so you have privacy but access.
