Heading up to north to Kerikeri we were booked in to stay at Bed of Roses and we were quite impressed. We stayed in the French Cottage and it was cute, tidy and well maintained. Free parking right outside the rooms was great. The owners were nice, a little pushy about having their breakfast but that was alright. A 2... More

If you want a couple of days away from it all then head North to Louisa's and Cliffs retreat at Bed and Roses bed and breakfast. The breakfast is second to none and the table is beautifully laid out. It is obvious that both Cliff and Louisa enjoy their guests company and go out of their way to ensure a... More

We had a perfect stay with Cliff and Louisa. Bed of Roses has beautiful gardens and gorgeous interiors. There is a relaxed feel but no shortage of service. An enchanting mix of NZ, France and England. Excellent breakfast too!

Just arrived a few hours ago from our Bay of Islands weekend getaway. The first thing my partner Carly said was her missing the room at Bed of Roses! Indeed, I was missing it myself, and everything else about it. I must say that this is the best accommodation we have had since we started travelling about 3 years ago,... More

The warm hosts and pretty Provencal style villa and gardens made for a lovely overnight stay. The room was comfortable, bright and elegant - beautiful French linens with a view over the lovingly tended gardens. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and chatting with Louisa and Cliff who truly understand the art of hospitality. Thank you for all your efforts to... More

We just finished 3 nights at Bed of Roses. Hosts Cliff and Louisa really understand the art of hospitality. Lots of nice little touches in the room and breakfasts were scrumptious! Very quiet and peaceful. Comfortable bed. Lovely garden. Cliff and Louisa made excellent recommendations for dinner and suggestions on what to see. This was a wonderful and memorable experience.... Delightful stay with warm and caring hosts Cliff and Louisa. The touch of French influence made the accommodation enticing and the garden sitting with superb views added the extra touches. Well worth visiting.

This review is a bit over due. We stayed at Bed of Roses in Keri Keri for three nights at the end of October. The town of Keri Keri is small but lovely, close to the coast and filled with lush vegetation and a cute town. This was one of several bed and breakfast spots that we stayed in on... More
