I organized a weekend surprise birthday getaway for my husband and some friends and we were stoked with what we got. Not only was it a pleasure to Inga and Claes, it was reasonably priced, a super cute wee cottage, cozy and tidy, close to the township, allowed us to bring our well behaved dogs (which is really hard to...

I just love this place, in the middle of an orange and mandarin orchard with free range chickens walking around, pigs, sheep (contained) the lovely dog Nika who is as friendly as can be. A lounge and dining area with and amazingly warm feel to it, nice and clean rooms finished to a comfortable standard, free wifi as well. Yes...

We stayed for 5 nights at Relax a Lodge in a double room with shared bathroom in the main house (after extending our stay from 3 nights because we loved it). We had a really great time, felt totally relaxed and very well taken care of. Thanks to Claes, Inga, Tiphaine and Nika the dog for your wonderful hospitality. We...

We stayed in the two bedroom cottage at Relax A Lodge for four nights. It delivered on everything we expected. It is located in an orange orchard so had lots of oranges trees at the door - and that's the view! The decor in the cottage is attractive and the facilities are excellent - modern and attractive bathroom and excellent...

We stayed in the 'Fishmore' cottage for 5 days over the new year period. It was a clean, comfortable cottage with basic outdoor furniture. The kitchen was well equipped and we had no issues cooking up a storm during our stay! Our only small complaint would be that the pillows were uncomfortable (completely flattened when you lay on them) and...

This was a lovely place to stay. We got a beautiful, quaint room with French doors to a covered verandah in a private home which seemed to have about 5 bedrooms. We shared the bathroom and could use the kitchen facilities. It is set in an orange orchard on the main highway north of Kerikeri. The setting was lovely and...

I booked this room because it was very inexpensive. I was in hurry and didn't read the description as closely as I should have. It was until that afternoon that I noticed that it was a shared bathroom. Being well past middle age, I was thinking I should just stay somewhere else. That would have been a bad decision and...

Feels like home. Friendly owner, lovely, really stunning house and rooms - clean, and cosy. The house is build with care and quality materials. Comfy bed. Attached to it is a citrus orchard and the owner places bowls with fruits for free in the lounge. Free Wifi, too. I'd come again.
