Valhalla House is a fabulous place to stay. The facilities are outstanding. Spacious rooms, luxurious beds, large en-suite bathrooms. Two guest lounge areas, and tea, coffee and snacks are available round the clock. There is also a fridge pool table for use by guests. The full cooked breakfast is a delicious and plentiful (no need to eat again during the day)....

Well located b & b in Walhalla. Beautiful property, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast in a well appointed room. Opportunity to meet other guests or do your own thing. The owners live on site and are very helpful. Hard to fault. Parking on site. Overall a class B & B

Merilyn and Jim run the perfect B&B in this magical community of Walhalla, Their home is perfectly set up, beautifully furnished in Victorian period style and has absolutely everything you need. Nothing has been overlooked and extreme comfort and relaxation await. A weekend was not enough to appreciate the surroundings and their attentive, friendly care. We even spent the late...

Merilyn and Jim are the commensurate hosts, we were taken to Wallhalla by good friends and they booked us one night at this extraordinary house/ home. Not a single thing has been left out in this beautiful Victorian living concept, high ceilings, luxury bedlinen, artefacts and personal object d'artes,The house simply stuns in restored antiquity and then you are told...

There is nothing much to add to the previous 2 reviews. We were 3 couples escaping for the weekend for gold, ghosts and wine in a beautiful town ,in a beautiful house on a beautiful river. Jim and Merilyn are superb hosts or presumably do the B and B thing because they love hosting and helping people. Merilyn asked our...

A bed and breakfast establishment. Pictures on their website looked very nice and Merylin was so very helpful over the phone, we booked. We arrived mid afternoon and were...

An absolute gem of a find. Pure indulgence from the moment you arrive until departure. The hosts Merilyn and Jim are extremely accommodating and very knowledgeable regarding the surrounding area. This house is their home and you are engulfed in it. Fruit and biscuits are provided in the sun lounge area, there is a fridge to store your cool drinks,...

I was sceptical that a b&b could be as well positioned, comfortable and attention to detail as described by other reviewers. We stayed over the weekend and found that all was quite idyllic and without fault. The most pleasant, professional and helpful hosts we have experienced. Pure silence, gorgeous gardens and extremely spacious. Plenty of hot water, comfortably warm, delicious...

We have stayed in a lot of types of accommodation over the years but Valhalla B&B has got to be the best. The attention to detail from the fresh flowers in your room to the chocolates by your bed is simply exquisite. The colonial villa is only four years old so it has all the charm of an old house...
