When driving in, I must admit I thought twice about this motel accommodation - but was surprised. Despite being located next to a large pokies venue /pub, the rooms were surprisingly quiet after dark. Rooms basic, and clean. Veranda with table and chairs welcome. When just a bed for the night needed - perfect!

I was very surprised at the standard of the accommodation for the low price. The room was quite large and was serviced daily and very clean. The bed was comfortable and there were basic amenities needed and a mini bar. The room has a balcony and nice district views. The balcony lights were centrally controlled and stayed on all night,... We had dinner near the fieplace, food service was a little slow but was good quality. Plenty of parking with good access. We come often for the entertainment nights. Locals are always chatty and friendly.

The best thing about this hotel is the kids play area. It is not a particularly fantastic play area but the fact that there's a playground for kids is great. We went on a Friday night and they had a ballon artist crafting balloons for the kids. We arrived around 6pm and the restaurant was not packed, but a little... More

This place is part of the ALH Group and we have had dinner at many of their other bistros (Sandbelt, Matthew Flinders, Doncaster Hotel.etc) because they are all family friendly. This is a nice venue with good decor and views of the city. However the food is nothing special for the price. We went here on the Thursday of the... More

Had a group of 10 here last week. Our meals were just ordinary pub food. There was nothing special about anyone's meal and nothing to convince us to return. The burgers were average, the fish a bit over cooked and dry, the Parma burned around the edges and the Vietnamese noodles ordinary. There was nothing wrong with the meals just... More

We had six people eat at the Hotel each person said their meal was average. The Pork ribs that were on special were dry and had no taste at all. we would not be hurrying back there in the near future. The location and views of the city area great but meals need to lift.

Rooms are big and clean with strong WiFi and comfortable bed. The hotel has really good restaurant and entertainment venue attached. Price is reasonable and the hotel is really close to large shopping center. Check in receptionist was very friendly and helpful although we did have to wait awhile to be attended to. While she was busy serving people before... More

Just recently my husband and I had stayed for a weekend while in town for a family wedding and was pleasantly surprised. Upon checking in the staff were lovely and amenities were great for anyone wanting the convenience of a comfortable room w/Wifi, bottle shop, lots of pokie machines and a TAB (for most husbands), good food, huge shopping centre...
