For those visiting Seppeltsfield in the wonderful Barossa Valley, the convenience of the Lodge's location is "second-to-none". Attractions within walking distances include Fino @ the majestic Seppeltsfield winery and the extraordinary Hentely Farm Restaurant, winery and cellar door. Encourage anyone reading this to read Hentely Farm Restaurant reviews. With a history of Seppelts family ownership for 100 years to the 1960's this Edwardian homestead is now a B&B ran by a proud Scot named Colin. It has four king sized rooms (with en suite), each boosting a picture perfect outlook over the adjacent crop fields and in the distant the rolling hills that encapsulate this world acclaimed, and Australia's numero one, premier Shiraz wine region. A roaring open-fire and a pair of chesterfields in the shared lounge, an old fashion honesty bar add to the character of this charming and inviting homestead. And then of course there's the breakfast, a glorious dinning experience in a setting fit for the Monarch and their associated entourage. Fresh local and visually enticing, with a vast selection of seasonal fresh fruit and cereal buffet, brewed coffee, followed by a mouthwatering and hearty full English breakfast ... where the only decision was how you had your eggs (poached of course). Very strongly recommended.

The Lodge Country House is a real gem tucked away off Seppeltsfield Rd opposite the Winery. A mid-week booking meant we had exclusive run of the property, and with the weather not cooperating, we chose to spend an idyllic day on a comfortable couch settled in front of a roaring log fire. The rooms are large, well appointed and comfortable with views of the vineyard, and very convenient car parking. The main sitting room is huge and has everything you could ever want and more, including a Grand Piano. Colin and Phil are delightful hosts who catered for our every need.

I enjoyed my stay very much, large, super clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable rooms. White linen sheets with fluffy cloud pillows - what more could you ask for after a busy day - the best healthy brekkie cooked to your liking with all the trimmings!

This large guesthouse has a magnificent setting and excellent rooms. Also the general sitting and breakfast area is luxorious and comfortable. Collin lights the big fireplace and makes you feel home. Our room 4 is 20 m2 with a bathroom of 4m2. The bed is 2m x 1.8m and coffee, tea is available near the large breakfast table. In the garden is a gazeebo with a BBQ, looking out over an old tennis court. Fom the house you can walk a 200m m across the road for a luxory restaurant.
