We stayed in Valley View for 4 nights. We had the most incredible time the house is situated right in the edge of the ridge with the most amazing views. The outdoor spa was amazing and my 1yr old son loved the kangaroos. The house comes set up with everything you need and they leave you a basket with wine,... More

Spent a great 3 day winter weekend with 3 friends. This was our second visit (7 years after the first). $400ea was certainly value for money ie in our own 3bed house "Billima" in private setting, 1 hour spa treatment and all meals included. The house was generous in size with a loft main bedroom, ensuite and the two downstair... More

Stayed for a romantic weekend away with my husband. Cabins are very secluded. Outdoor hot tubs were amazing. Loved every minute of our stay. Will definitely be going back. Great Restaurant and on site massage.

Dear Samantha B Thank you for your stunning review. Much appreciated by our management and staff which are essential for a genuine resort. Unfortunately for many holiday makers there are unhosted unrated holiday homes and cabins located in resorts which either call themselves a 'resort" or give the impression that their guests have access to "all' resort facilities. In reality... More

Our stay was fantastic, right from the moment we were welcomed with a complimentary glass of champagne to our departure with the spectacular mountain views and wildlife in the review mirror. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to all our conference needs, our cabins were simply amazing and bistro menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner was deliciously tasteful. Great... Booked and paid for 2 nights accomodation to escape our busy lifestyle. After driving up the very steep and winding road we arrived at a dark and gloomy reception and knocked on the locked door. A woman called out for us to go to another door as the power was out. We followed her through the sad and rundown dining... More

This is a dishonest and uncharitable review. The whole region experienced a power blackout that afternoon and thankfully all other guests understood and stayed with good grace. Yes the weather was wild at the time surely you are not going to blame us for that too ? The couple booked a ROOM through an online travel agency not a "lodge"... More

Set on Mt George in the clouds...need I say more? Our cabin was just perfect for our family of 4, but would equally suit two families of four or a large family with two extra bedrooms upstairs which we didn't touch! Comfortable, if a little basic, we wanted for nothing. The view was spectacular. We bush walked, caught yabbies, pat... More

Dear gMarsh82 So delighted you and your family enjoyed your stay. The natural attractions are so appealing such as the yabbying and bush walks especially as all these have information boards on what to look out for by way of native flora and fauna. The Discovery buggys give you an opportunity to explore so many aspects of the resort from... More

We had an amazing time in this wilderness retreat. The view over the valley was spectacular, and kangaroos and monitor lizards were running across the lawn. We did find we had to drive up to breakfast as everything was so far spaced, but this meant it was secluded. Our children were too young for the walks but we took a... More
