This is a great B&B if you're interested in a romantic, relaxing getaway. My wife and I took advantage of the whirlpool and wine picnic basket packages, and we were not disappointed. Great breakfast! It was healthy but decadent--is that possible? Sharon was also a wonderful hostess, and the local eateries and wineries were delicious. I definitely recommend the Elmwood... More

A truly wonderful experience. Sharon was a joy to talk to and wealth of information. The restaurant she suggested within walking distance was superb. Sharon made the reservations for us. Breakfast the next morning was outstanding. Sharon's husband Sam did an excellent job at preparing the thick cut bacon and Sharon made creme brulee French toast - OMG. Sharon served... More

We spent one night in the Ivy Suite at the Hollday House in mid March 2011. The rooms were huge and spotless. We had a large bedroom, a good size sitting room with massive plasma TV, a walk -in shower for 2, and a large jacuzzi. The house is so well kept, and Sam and his dad Darnell were the... More

My husband and I had a wonderful two-night stay in the Garden Room at Holladay House to celebrate my birthday. We picked the Garden Room because Sharon and Sam, the fabulous innkeepers, allow furry friends to stay in this lovely room with its own garden entrance, and we were traveling with our 90-pound golden retriever. Everything about our stay was... More

We chose The Holladay House B&B based on it's proximity to Monticello and Skydive Orange as well as the website, reviews and photos and we couldn't be more pleased! We were greeted by our host, Sharon with warmth and hospitality. Our room (the James Madison Suite) was romantic and cozy, complete with a fireplace, four poster bed and sitting room.... More

The Holiday House B&B was a fantastic getaway for the 2 of us. The innkeeper, Sharon was informative about the area, knowledgeable about the historical house and things to do. And, wow: can she cook…breakfast was outstanding…both mornings. If you want a few days of quite rest and relaxation head over to this B&B !!

Our stay was fabulous. It was our first time ever at a Bed and Breakfast and Sharon along with her team made our stay not only extremely warm and comfortable but also very exciting and surprising. Sharon was on top of it with helping me create those special moments for my wife that I could never get back. The place... More

My husband and I recently spent 2 nights at the Holladay House. There is not one thing I would change. From arrival to departure everything was so nice. Sharon is so pleasant and accommodating. The room was very clean and warm. Our room had a lovely small gas fire place. The bathrobes in room are nice as well. The place... More

I'll keep this short an to the point. The owners are a delightful young couple who offer tons of personal attention and excellent conversation. Breakfast was to die for--delicious and well-presented. Loved the cozy fireplace in our historic suite. Many EXCELLENT dining options nearby--we ate at a french place in gordonsville one night, and at Elmwood near the inn the... More
