We always enjoy our time at Mercure Penrith. We are always given a warm welcome, the room is always ready. House Keeping staff always give a welcoming smile when they see us as does the staff member who looks after the bar and delivers our morning breakfast tray. A well run hotel. Professional, friendly and helpful staff.

The staff were quite friendly but the facilities desperately need a refurbishment as it is showing its age. The carpet is lifting in many areas, the ensuite was looking very shabby and there was almost no water pressure in the shower. On the positive side of the ledger, there was a good variety of dining options within walking distance.

We stayed 2 nights for a wedding nearby. I hadn't stayed here since it became a Mercure. The updates were nice. We had a bottom floor room at the end of the hallway so it was quiet. The room was spacious and we had a small patio. Probably the worst thing was the shower - stupid design. It was nearly...

We stayed at the Mecure for my birthday and were attending a show at Panthers next door. From the hotel, we had internal access to the club which was handy, although this ceases around 10pm. The room was surprisingly large with 2 double beds , TV, table and chairs, fridge (No minibar)Large bathroom. No veranda but large window with a...

Mentioned to friend we were to stay at Panthers hotel - grimace from him. Did we realise it was located adjoining Panthers Club? What about noise from slot machines etc? We've stayed there before, always been well satisfied, detached from the club and quite self-contained. Rooms very comfortable, generous size, quiet, good storage - and club restaurant catering (and breakfast)...

We attended the NSW Golf Open at Stonecutters Ridge and afterwards did a short drive to the Mercure Penrith located on the site of Panthers Club. At night we attended the Penrith Paceway. The room at the Mercure was large and clean and the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

We live in the Lower Mountains and stayed at the Mercure for 1 night while we were having renovations done at home. I believe the hotel in scheduled for renovations in 2017 which is badly needed. At $239 a night for 3 adults room only it was poor value. I checked the rates online for the next and the $239...

Grear view from the room and staff and amenities were great. Rooms are now getting a bit tired looking. Needs a complete refurbishment to bring it up to what should be a great hotel. All in all though value for money was still there.

Have reviewed this Hotel (Former Chifley) in the past. Now it’s Mercure. It’s more costly than before and the rooms are much the same. Reception much the same, some new staff, and it was friendly enough. On the weekend we stayed (two rooms, family guest joined me from the Blue Mountains) at check in time, they were completing the install...

Central to shops, cultural centres at the foot of the Blue Mountains. Room spacious, quiet, very clean and good fluffy towels. Staff helpful and friendly. Hotel next to Panthers Leagues Club with restaurants, entertainment, gambling venues etc.... There is also a cafe de wheels outside the club which sells pasties, pies of all descriptions, chips, tea, coffee and soft drinks....
