Detailed Reviews
I booked a deluxe king room for one night. The room was not really deluxe. The aircon controls were difficult to work out (had to ring reception for advice). Walking from the elevator to my room, there are numerous roof panels in the hallway with brown water stains and stains on the carpet. Along the hallway a few staff amenities are on full display ie doorways for storage, linen etc…..other hotels seem to disguise these so they are not on full view to the guests. The bathroom in my room was ordinary. Over the bath shower, a hard glass screen which restricted how you could turn the show on, no options with the shower head. The bath room was a real let down and came complete with a spider (huntsman) and a sad bent rubber plug. Having a shower with the cheap bath base was challenging and slippery. The king bed was not comfortable and overall I would not stay here again.

The shower soap ect you guys supply is very poor quality and I would encourage yous to source something better. A couple of bottles of water in the fridge would be great . The drinking glasses had been wiped out, I could tell from the marks in them so we didn't use them . Other then this our stay was great ! The man at the front counter was very very busy but nice and everything else was clean and nice thank you

We recently enjoyed a very pleasant and comfortable stay at the Mercure Penrith. Our spacious room was well furnished with generous inclusions such as sufficient comfortable chairs and tables, safe, hair dryer, ironing board etc. Staff was professional and friendly. The service was excellent. And the promise of a complimentary drink for the two of us was provided with no issues.

A $600+ room that thumped bass music from panthers till two. Didn’t sleep at all the room was not any kind of sound proof. The manager offered free breakfast like that was any kind of compensation for having to get up and check out to go home to get some sleep. Charged a fortune for bugger all comfort. Tv came on by its flat at 2 and the constant noise from outside as well as the hallways. This place absolutely sucks passing itself off as an expensive decent hotel, it is not. Will be finding alternative accommodation arrangements for my wedding party.
An absolute rip off!

Disappointing stay. This is the second occasion staying at Mecure Penrith prior to running in the Blue Mountains UTA event. To date the hotel has suited our needs and been reasonable in terms of cost and services. On this occasion we were give a room over looking the pool, near a night club situated in the Penrith Panthers entertainment complex. Thumping music both Friday and Saturday nights until 2 AM resulting in very little sleep which was especially needed on the Friday night before a 50km trail run on Saturday. Had to be up at 4 AM so only had very minimal sleep. Warnings should come with these room locations or big discounts on noisy nights.

Staff were amazing. The bed was hard, it was like sleeping on the floor room clean. Food at the club was great. You had to get there early to get parked near the motel. You also have to be a member to be able to go between motel and club or you have to walk out side in the rain

Dear Fran B, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. We are disappointed to hear that you stay was less than perfect on this occasion. We have identified the room you were staying in and our Maintenance team are checking the mattress and bed in the room to ensure future guests will not have a similar experience. Our Friday & Saturday nights are increasingly busy and I can see that you stayed on the night of a Panthers NRL home game. Our car park is normally very busy on weekends and on home game nights it can be challenging to find parking. Our team will always try to assist to locate parking for guests if required on these nights, however we do encourage guests to park their vehicles and where possible leave them parked in the space. Our hotel does have internal access to the Panthers Penrith Leagues club for Panthers members. This is a requirement for the clubs security and licensing, however all guests can join the club at our hotel reception desk for $5.00 for 1 year and then the team can program guest keys to access the club through the interconnecting door from 6am - 10pm. We do hope that you will return to visit us in the future. Thank you again for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. Warm Regards, Anna Voss General Manager

We stayed for 2 nights and hotel is situated at a very strategic place with lake views and close to panthers club which has multiple restaurant/cafe options. Room was decent with nice window and back side there is lake with aqua golf which was interesting. However, there is no in-house restaurant and cafe is also a small thingy behind reception. Overall it was good stay and hotel is little old but nice.

Dear Roshan M, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We appreciate you providing us with your feedback. While we do not have an in-house restaurant, we are located directly next door to Panthers Penrith Leagues club which has 11 bars and restaurants within the club and the majority of the restaurants can charge your meals back to your hotel account. To access the club you can either enter via the club's main entry doors and sign in or alternatively you can purchase a Panthers Penrith club membership for $5.00 for one year and the hotel will provide you with internal access to the club from 7am - 10pm daily. We thank you again for your review and look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Kind Regards,

The room was nice, the double usb charging port on the wall for my phone didn’t work at all.
The entertainment area is close by and way to noisy. It’s 10:30 pm and the noise is so loud. This is the 2nd night and I’m glad I’m not staying any longer. So if you want to sleep then don’t stay here.

Dirty, hair on the floor through the bath room, hair on pillows, so room poorly cleaned. The air conditioning for the whole complex must be directly above my room 202, as it sounds like like a jet taking off constantly. You can hear very word and conversation of people in the corridor, Even over the air conditioning……lucky I packed the ear plugs!

My son and I travelled down from Cairns to watch the Penrith Panthers V the Parramatta Eels, this was my son’s first game so you can only imagine how excited he was.
We booked one night at the Mercure and honestly, it was everything I could’ve asked for. Extremely friendly and customer oriented staff who met any request including lending a permanent marker to the young fella so he could collect player autographs.
We ordered Room service for dinner and it was outstanding, the room was very clean and comfortable.
Thanks for making our stay perfect.

They still have room cards at the Four Seasons at Sydney Harbour. So what’s the problem?
Not sure. Best to check with Mercure.
Hi
The Mercure Penrith renovation is commencing early July 2017 and should be completed in 14 weeks. Very Exciting.

Matt, sorry I can't remember how much the upgrade WiFi is but there is a basic allowance in the room cost. There are towels, face cloths and hand towels supplied.
