Warning!. amenities are not in service. This is not a Good hotel..do not stay here.overpriced.Go across the street. No breakfast at all, just old fruit. No drinks, Poor service. I hate this place!gtfoh!
Stayed here twice, the first time when I couldn't get back to LA due to freeway closures from a wildfire, the second time recently. I was happy on both occasions. The rooms are quiet, well insulated, clean and with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was surprisingly hearty. How bad can your day be when it starts with fresh waffles? Staff was courteous and polite. Plenty of free parking, which in the LA vicinity is not as common as it should be.
I recently stayed here on my trip to Magic Mountain. This was my first time at this hotel. I usually stay at the other hotels right nearby. However, considering the good reviews for this hotel, I wanted to give it a try. I was actually a bit disappointed. Overall, the hotel is a tad old. You can see that management has tried to renovate. But unfortunately, it still has an "old" feel and appearance. The rooms were okay. As previously stated, you just can't get away from that "old" feeling. No matter how many layers of paint you slap on, it just felt old and a bit smelly. It didn't help that the hallways smelled of marijuana....I guess some guests on my floor were lighting up! The free breakfast was typical breakfast hotel fare. Nothing to write home about. I actually prefer the other hotels nearby in the same price range....newer, cleaner, and just nicer. It was likely the first and last time staying at this hotel.…
Good place to stay at a "reasonable" price if traveling on the #5 and headed on/off the #126 or the #14 or headed to the #210 and San Fernando and points east. Even has a decent breakfast that's included.
After 4 hours of solid traffic, we just had to stop. Just took the exit and stumbled upon this nice hotel. True, it is an older hotel, but renovated nicely. We got a “managers special” $229.00 regular price but got it for $129. Plus tax for $144. Nice little breakfast room, with a varied selection of hot and cold items. The king bed was very comfortable with several different pillows to chose from already on the bed. Towels were old but were originally decent quality. It was so nice to have a couch and place to put up your feet! The location was near six flags, so that must account for higher prices.
