We loved our stay at Villa Flamenco Beach. Juan was such a thoughtful host--we didn't realize that PR was not allowing the sale of liquor on Sunday due to new covid-19 regulations--when I just happened to mention this to Juan he asked us what type of wine or beer do we like-later that evening he presents us with a 6 pack of Philip's favorite local beer and with me a bottle of merlot--also during our trip since many of the restaurants were closed or had limited hours so he presented us with fresh yellowtail to grill on the barbeque! Thank you so much Juan for your extra effort to make our stay in "paradise" even better...Flamenco Beach right outside your door--so gorgeous...I went out one night to view the stars --so beautiful during the meteorite shower--thank you for the memories....…
I must say that the owners of the Villa, Don Juan and Doña Violeta were very hospitable and opened their business to us during these times of social distancing. I was able to enjoy 2 days in a wonderful Villa, well equipped with all of the appliances needed, propane grill outside and a beautiful view to the ocean. Even though concerns were raised during these times, everybody observed social distancing and enjoyed paradise. Overall, an outstanding experience!!! Thank you Don Juan and Doña Violeta. We will return!!
Flamenco Beach is one of the most beautiful in the world. Villa Flamenco Beach is one of only two places to stay. It has six apartments in total. The managers, Juan and Violetta, are on site and go out of their way to ensure that your visit is exceptional. The beach is steps from your door. We've already booked for next year
Flamenco Beach is considered one of the best in the world. This place is right on the beach, with a small hotel next door, but nothing else really close. It's a small place, maybe 6 rooms. Ours was second floor, with a beautiful balcony looking over onto the beach. Our experience may have been a little atypical, as we arrived the day before a Category 1 hurricane was scheduled to hit the island. Almost all tourists had left the island, so we were the only guests. The owners took great care of us, moving us to a room not facing the ocean for one night, and making sure we were ok. The hurricane was not really bad, and as the place has a generator, the inconvenience was minimal. Our room had a great kitchen that came in really handy. Very spacious room. It seems isolated, but it's just a five minute drive into town. (Some guide books speak positively of just renting a golf cart to get around. We opted for a jeep and were really glad we did. See my review of Carlos Jeep Rental for details) Wifi is available, but varies greatly from room to room. In our oceanfront room, it was only available if you stood in the hallway. in the other room, it was very strong.…
My wife and I along with our son stayed at Villa Flamenco for three nights. Wish we had stayed longer. After missing our flight to the island we were forced to take the ferry with the help of Juan, the owner, who connected us with a driver by the name of Leslie. We finally made it the property and the stressful traveling day immediate became forgotten once we were there. The property is gated and is located on the best beach in Culebra. Literally, steps away from the property. The property is well kept and Juan and Violeta are great host. Can't wait to repeat.
