I stayed with a large group. Camping area is quite large and divided in 4 sections. The management tries to spread the guests among the areas. The beach is beautiful, because it is protected on the east, and the reefs offshore, it is fairly safe even during strong winds and waves, with good snorkeling areas. There is a group of...

We were so happy about our recent visit to this beach and campground. The Friends of Culebra have had a notable impact on the cat population. The kitties are well fed, neutered and spayed and are a manageable colony. Last visit kitties were jumping out of garbage cans and this time they were only minimally visible. We love cats and...

We stayed 5 nights at this amazing paradise. We brought all are own camping and snorkel gear. Had all our meals coffee and rum drinks at the many kiosks within the campground. We took a small plane to the island and the ferry back. Did not rent a car or feel the need to have one. The bathrooms are comparable...

By far the highlight of my trip. The beach was one of the nicest I have been to in my travels. The beach and the campground area was clean and maintained. The food that's sold at the little huts was quite tasty too and I can't forget about the Pina Coladas!!!! The early morning trip to catch the ferry and...

We've been to Culebra many times. The most beneficial time would be mid-August for that's when classes start and the student go back to school. If you don't feel like signing onto an excursion from off the ferry, there 's a bus that will take you directly to Flamingo beach. We've set up camping on the grounds. It's for a...

Flamenco Beach is a gem itself. Throw in a good camping facility and you get yourself tranquility and beauty with some comfort. Spacious and clean tents, foam mattresses. It was our family's first camping experience (with a 6 year old kid) and it exceeded our expectations.A little pricey, but you can't beat the location. Things you need to consider before...

My wife and I aren't campers but having visited here before felt we had to try this. We thoroughly enjoyed it: Pros: One of the best beaches in the carribbean. Camp site was clean and we had plenty of space, even had a picnic table. The kiosk food and drinks were decent and prices weren't bad. First dibs on beach...

We've never camped on any of our vacations, but this was truly amazing! We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into, but when we arrived we had to wait a few hours for Michell and just hung out on the beautiful beach and it was no big deal at all because the turquoise water and white sand beach...

My wife and just finished camping here through Map Me Adventure on AirBnB. We stayed in Section E, literally 10 steps from the beach!!! From our hammock, we had a 120 degree uninstructed view of this amazing place. And falling asleep to the waves and breezeway fantastic. Never have I slept so well while camping!!! Helpful tip #1 - rent...

This place is amazing! The white sand is welcoming and the clear pool like water will not let you leave. There are shops were you can rent snorkeling equipment and there is tons of food as well. You can camp right next to the beach so you are in the water from wake up until you fall asleep. Simply majestic.

“Demand campsite "E". Bring enough beer and food to get you through dinner and breakfast. Buy fresh ice (hielos in spanish) from a beach vendor by 230pm as they shut down by 3pm daily (when the last ferry leaves for the day).”

“The closer you camp to the beach, the less issue with bugs you will have because the wind is a deterrent. We camped in area D. E looked nice, but there were people who had been there for six months thoroughly inhabiting that area. A and B seemed like the choice for people with small children because it is less walking on the sandy path.”

“Section E is worth looking at. It appears to be all long term campers with some very elaborate set ups. The people seemed nice, but I preferred the more solitary section D.”
