The resort was ok, it was pretty dead at the end of May when we went and since there were hardly any people in the resort we kinda struggled with food, had to do the ala carte restaurant most of the time ... other than that the overall experience was great, people friendly, the rooms clean and the ocean unbeatable

All in all a great time. Particular credit is due to the talent agents behind the music they have on weeknights. I know Cuba is known for their music, so maybe it's just that everybody is so talented, but even the cover bands were some of the best I've seen, better than most in the US. Kudos!

The food at the buffet is the same fare every day. At breakfast if the fruit runs out it is not replaced. Only one variety of cheese served. Lunch and dinner are the same items for the entire week I was there. Very disappointed with the food. The room was ok except there is no hot water in the morning....

Travelled with my wife and two boys (5 and 8). Got to the resort at 11pm on a Saturday. Check in was rather quick and the bell boy took our bags and gave us a ride to our room on his golf cart. Room was spacious and had a 'king bed' (two singles pushed together) and two roll away beds...

We have been to this resort many times. The beach is beautiful. Like others have wrote, this resort was the first built in Cayo Coco. We like the colonial feel and the resort has been working at upgrading. Water and Hydro were both issues on this visit, but I would not let that spoil my holiday. The staff moved and...

Dear Anne, thank you very much for writing on this site and for continuing to choose us. This is an amazing and charming resort that is good value for the money. The food was better than expected and the shrimp and chicken kebobs at dinner one night was exceptional. The three a la carte restaurants were quite good and the 5 star cuban dining experience added to the ambience of this resort. Lasagna at the Italian restaurant...

It's about the time, I got around the writing this review. I traveled to this resort with my girlfriend with sunwing airlines, stayed a week in late may. We vacationed here Jan 10-24. This was our second holiday here. All in all it was a great holiday. We ate at all 3 a la carte restaurants. They as well as the buffet were very good. There are lots and lots of choices, very tasty food. We were happy to see many of the staff from our first holiday...
