We spent our last few days of honeymoon here in Hotel Colonial, food is good. All three days were of a different variety spread. Just be really careful when the sun sets. The mosquitoes gets really ferocious in the evening. Good service from the staffs, from cleaning of rooms to providing assistance for check ins.

My husband and I travelled to Cayo Coco on October 21st for a week. This is our third time back to this hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The villas are under renovation again this year so we stayed in the newer part of the resort by the saltwater pool. The villas are so unique with their colour and...

We enjoyed the Colonial for two weeks with 2 other couples. Absolutely fabulous time. Yes, it is older, with a few quirks, but people, you're in Cuba. You're on vacation with the most amazing beaches and friendliest folk imaginable! One hilight of the trip was a large boat that passes by the resort to pick you up and take you...

I heard about the terrible food so I was already prepared for that, but what I was not prepared for was the fact that it would be so difficult to get ANY food at all. For days we were the polite Canadians, not saying anything while Spanish speakers butted in front of us in food lines, but I'd had it...

My daughter and I went for a quick four-day trip to Cuba and stayed at the Hotel Colonial. I've been to several resorts in Cuba and this one is very nice.
